Couple of quetions: How do I melee attack????

Whats the difference between Rookie DM/TDM and normal DM/TDM???

It's RT in single player and Y in multiplayer.

From what I can tell, Rookie DM/TDM are only for new players - as soon as you hit level 5 or so, you can't use them anymore.

Damn, I was playing multiplayer last night, and I swear towards the end only about half my shots took damage. Plus, I couldn't get back into a party I was in because it kept saying I was "blacklisted". I'm not sure if that was the game's fault or my crappy university internet connection.

 

 

Yeah, I'm gonna go with the latter.

I've hit level 5 and i can still use Rookie. And I have seen Level 6 in Rookie before so the limit must be higher than that.

I'm mostly on PC these days and have problems aiming with the controller in free aim and I don't think I'm alone. I've had a bunch of moments where I meet people and we just start shooting the walls for 10 seconds. There's not even a slight amount of aim assist (like Halo/CoD) and as it's 3rd person your targets are pretty small. It'd be nice if there was something more like the slightly 'magnetic' free aiming in most console FPS's. Will probably sell 360 version for the PC version when it's out as I think it'll be better for multiplayer (aiming wise at least).

after hitting level 2 or 3 I went to the standard playlist. I played with meta and a few others last night for the first time on the Gang Wars mode, which is a great concept. After getting through Chapter IV in the story mode I really wasn't expecting much from multiplayer as I haven't really read or watched anything about it. I'm impressed.

I did my first run in MP last night. It was fun, but I might have to say it did seem a bit wonk. Some issues with the lobby, but I can't say I noticed too much of the 'shot not registering' gripe people seem to be bitching about. Although, I do kind of suck and it isn't like my shots are actually going to hit anyone anyway.

 

I'll be picking up the PC version too. At least then I may be able to aim and shoot well in MP since my brain is wired for mouse/keyboard when it comes to these types of games.

8 hours.The last few chapters are VERY hard.

I play on medium difficulty and my bro is playing on soft lock and easy, He still is dying as many times as I am on medium. They really made this game a challenge.

 

Especially with the Golden Guns, I have never found 3 pieces of any of the Golden Guns...WHERE IS THE THIRD PIECE?? I have been checking every corner now.

Just beat it, another great Max Payne game. I really hope Rockstar plans on some Single Player DLC, or even a Max Payne 4. I felt like I was playing in a Die Hard movie; everything was just great. I loved the New Jersey pieces, wish there were more of those. It was nice playing as classic Max redefined in HD.

A really weird thing happened to me on multiplayer last night. I was in a Deathmatch, and whenever I was shooting someone, it'd show their health going down, but when they should have died, they'd just pop up a metre or so away with full health. I've had this happen before for one or two people in a match before, but this was for everyone in the game. Whenever someone else killed someone else, it would say "Person A + Flutterbellic (my Gamertag) killed Person B", but it didn't register on the scoreboard. On the plus side, no one could cause any damage to me - I was a frikkin' ghost. I just spent the whole ten minutes looting corpses.

Nice going Rockstar, there was just an update and now I cant connect to multiplayer. Really astounding work lads.

Nice game and much better targeting system. But action is too much at times and made to restart. Ridiculously tough at times than the first two other than that it still lacks that atmosphere of the First. I still prefer first over third for the atmosphere - simple yet so playable.

Oh! and please get the old comic-book style back why really the new format??? It sucks

Lastly, MP3 is a pleasant surprise shooter with a nice story. But, as a fan who have played the first about halfway through lost the interest over shooting.The challenge is nice but the atmosphere is missing.

Yeah i feel you, buying games from the UK works out around $60 cheaper for me from OzGamesShop but it means the game will come like a week after release.

 

It's worth $120 to buy on release day for some games.

yea.. watched baseball bat boy! nice and laughed. what next? NOTHING. I heard a lot of pre-ordered goodies and easter eggs but still very few except Chapter 3 which is nothing much of a poster. Even TV has been put into repeating the news reports again and again in every room, ads, silly cartoons and crazy shows.

I would like to know any easter eggs of whole arsenal with ammo and cool early guns so far from finding any ... just like..MP1

Yes, shrekdj, there is.

In one of the New Jersey flashback levels you can turn on some TV and get to watch Captain Base-Ball Bat Boy in fully animated way, just like the TV in Gta 4.

 

Plus on the cementry level, you can find somewhere the graves of Valerie Winterson, Nicole Horne and Vinnie Gognitti.

That's not what I am looking!..easter egg (if u guys remember in 1st) @ different maps players are given nice assortment of ammo at hard to notice areas which were super cool and helped a lot in Dead on Arrival Mode.

 

MP3 - In my play-through so far only few posters and shows proclaiming news about characters have appeared. I am still exploring maps to find any hidden areas to try my search for cool weapons.

Well, no, not really, I mean, Easter Eggs can include extra bonuses and stuff but its mainly little jokes and references added in by the devs, like the flag on top of the bridge in SA or the "you weren't supposed to get here" graffiti in GTAIII.

 

Okay then, what about the golden guns in this game? They're certainly a bonus, that's for sure. In fact, what you're talking about isn't even easter eggs, that's just ammo you find in crates and stuff in MP1.
