Who else is waiting until the 29th to get it?

Should I just get it now for the 360 and enjoy it early, or wait until the 29th for the PC version?

I'm waiting for the PC version, and as I've said before, I see no reason to get the Xbox 360 version if your PC can handle it. Max Payne is just way too precision-based to get the most out of it with a controller. Some people may be able to enjoy it with things like auto-aim, but to me, that takes all of the fun out of it.

Payne Killers is a "Public Crew" which means it has an unlimited roster put in place by Rockstar. They've made about 8 or so with Rockstar type themes, they're nothing special, just catch all crews for people coming in off the streets. Our stats are measured differently as a "Featured Crew" with a capacity of 300. Once in game you also notice we have a Gold Tag as opposed to anyone in the lobby, I've been trying to figure out whether that's unique to the GTAF tag or if every other crew sees their members highlghed that way. Anyone running in another Crew at the moment? Let me know if your tag is white or gold.

The gold tag might be because GTAF Crew and all the crews that were created before May 15th are Founder Crews.

In the Social Club Founder Crews have two gold stripes.

Idk in the game cause I haven't got it yet but I suppose that's the reason for the gold tag.

Cause GTAF Crew is already listed as GOLD in the Social Club Leaderboards (I think over 100.000 XP).

Overall its decent, though not too terribly interesting. I'm only halfway through, but my favorite bit so far's been the New York sequences, thats the only time the game feels like a proper Max Payne sequel. The gores a bit improved from GTAIV and RDR, and I hope this continues in V, though I doubt it.

You know, Zee, there's one thing that's been bugging me for the longest time: Where do you get the money to fly to the US out on a whim just to complain about these games? Seems like a bit of a waste to me, but to each his own on how they choose to spend their cash.

I really should be playing this now. I had all intentions of picking it up today, but my laziness(and actual being busy) got in the way. I have no real excuse - freaking GameStop is like a 2 minute walk from where I catch my trolley to come home. I can't believe I didn't just pop my ass in there on the way home. Oh and it gets worse. There are 2 other GameStop stores about a 10 minute drive from my house. Did I get in my car or on my bike? No. Now I have to sit here tonight and not play MP3 thanks to my own stupid ways.

Sad of somewhat not caring that much about old Max at the moment... (eventhough I am one of the biggest goddamn Max Payne fanboys around). Diablo III is here! xD

 

Which will ease the payne of waiting a couple of more weeks for the CE PC version... plus being in Europe.

That's my biggest complaint, especially when you're playing multiplayer. I'm also not a fan that to throw a grenade, you just have to tap the left bumper button on the 360, since the left bumper is also used for weapon switching, notwithstanding the fact it takes forever to throw a grenade.

Throwing a grenade is just awkward in MP, you never really get the sense that your priming it at all. Where ever your reticle happens to be pointing is where the grenade goes but half the time you end up throwing it against the wall back at yourself in tight corners and spaces.

Looking at the pc specs in your sig, I'm not sure why you'd bother with either console version, but to each their own.

I'm really liking the game so far. My kill to death ratio in MP is sh*tting the bed right now, but that may change once I get used to the game.

Was online last night around 12 but couldn't find anyone on the ps3 version. Do I need to add people on the friends list or will the crews list show up automatically? I'd rather get buttraped by people I know than some random 12 y/o.

I'm trying a drinking game in SP where I take a drink whenever Max does. Got quite loaded, but at least the visuals started making sense
