PC is the only way to play the Max Payne series.

and if I was playing on PC, 35GB installed and it'll be the only series I'll be playing notify.gif

If I had a good computer I would buy it on PC too, though.

PC is the only way to play the Max Payne series.

I've played it on both and I would only concede that full bullet time camera rotation and aiming in some cases on the PC seems a lot more natural and easier to do than on a console. For movement, general shooting and just about anything else I'll take a conventional controller over a keyboard any day of the week.

16 GB of RAM? 16 f*cking GB of RAM? What the f*ck is this game doing? Simulating the Universe? What kind of game needs that?

They must be f*cking high. I could try to understand the HDD space.. but the RAM use is retarded.

Is funny if you consider the difference, 2gb up to 16gb the graphic options must be like this

2gb-extra-mega-ultra-low

16gb-incredible-uber-extraordinary high

G The Generous

well, the minium system looks fine

R* should REALLY release the demo for people who want to test their PC with this game. my PC could play most of games on medium setting, except GTA IV was a bad port, so it was lagged like hell on my PC for some reason, now if MP3 is the same, I swear to God... I will get the Xbox version, can't miss the chance to play this game suicidal.gif

That's because these aren't the recommended requirements.. it's just a range from minimum to highest possible (optimal) requirements. R* really could do it better with the showoff of the requirements, this just confuses a lot of people.. like you for example.

And I still don't understand the ridiculously 35 GB HDD space.. suicidal.gif

As far as I'd seen, it's a pre-order bonus without a cut-off. The site offering it in the UK still has it up. The pill bottle bonus had a cut-off though, and I think it's passed. Where are you looking to order from?

This is absolutely correct. Those aren't real recommended specs, those are the absolute highest specs the game was tested on. The game will undoubtedly run fine on any hardware inbetween recommended and required, this is just Rockstar's way of saying "we tested it up this far, and the game won't bottleneck a rig this powerful."

In other words, the specs are a very good thing. The only thing to worry about is the 35GB file size, which is probably down to animations, as well as the fact that every single individual NPC and enemy has a unique voice actor (in every supported language, too - and you probably won't have the option of only downloading your preferred language pack, unfortunately).

Well, GAME still has it up, so I'm not sure why you're asking here, really. What early multiplayer?

Pre ordering gives you access to the the mutiplayer cemetery map right? Or am i confussed?

Wait so MP3 has several language packs?

From what I've heard. That could just be a rumor, but the fact that every NPC has a unique voice actor was confirmed in an interview hosted by Lazlow.

Yes, early access to the map, but not early access to multiplayer.

I saw an advertisement on the side of a bus for MP3 today on my way home from work. It reminded me that I will be playing it soon smile.gif Has anybody else seen anything like that yet?

In that case it was completly idiotic to put it that way. Ofcourse it will work better with more RAM... but they shouldn't put it in the requirements.

I'm going to rage if I end up with another GTAIV scenario... having bought a "recently" a new PC with top of the line equipment in it, being able to run pretty much every new game maxed out smoothly but ending up running IV like a motherf*cking gangraped snail... (at the time of the release though, now I'm all settled xD)

I didn't say it was smart, I'm just trying to explain it for the people having difficulty with interpretation.

I'm more worried about mutliple patches for MP3 month by month. confused.gif Now that will be a very worse scenario.

The last I saw a game advertisement here in Brazil it was about Warcraft 3.

Stores here will get the game only 3 weeks after the release. So everything about games here are repelled by the government. confused.gif

I can't take a picture of it because I don't know where the bus is. I'll try if I see it again. I live in America.

@Eagles, that's unfortunate about the wait, I bet it will be interesting playing a game set in Brazil though.

For the 35GB requirement, one possible reason for that much could be in the audio. HD uncompressed audio can take up GB of space.
