It's a ballsy move being given a much loved game series and taking responsibility for it, then killing the main character off.

I don't think they'll kill off Max. Rockstar seem to be wanting to relaunch the franchise, to me at least. And it seems strange they would resurrect a franchise nine years after the last game just to kill off the title character. I could be totally wrong though, who knows?

Well...

 

Neither of those were sequels (Yes, I know about RDRevolver but RDR is more of a spiritual successor than sequel). There weren't any characters who were in any previous games.

 

Max has been in two other games, made by a different company. Its a lot different.

 

I personally hope he lives, simply cause I don't see R* pulling the same move 3 times in a row. Its become formulaic.

yeah, Max have collapsed many times, but he is still living on and stay strong. there is no reason why this badass mofo would want to take a bullet in the head now

I really hope to see Max Payne 4 after this, since R* have spent a lot of times to create this innovative combat system

It should become available to the public a couple month's after release like pretty much all preorder DLC's are. So no worry here to anyone who isn't getting the Special Edition.

Different writers. Different developers. It's not a credible argument, if you ask me.

 

Besides, unless R* intended on making this the final game in the series, I don't see Max dying in this one.

GTX 680 2GB RAM? What the f*ck? I doubt many people have one of those. That's quite a stark jump from the minimum specs.

Well, that's certainly crazy. I do wonder what they mean by the specs though. Does it mean it wont run on the highest settings unless you have a 680 or is it just simply saying "oh sure, the game runs on a 680"? How can the game use 16GB of RAM?

 

I'm hoping my high-spec PC with a 580 will run it on max and the higher spec hardware is just for show.

To beat Skyrim with all quests you need about 150 hours.. and the game itself is only 6 GB big.

That is really a mindf*ck when I see that MP3 needs 35 GB.. dafuq

I'm going hopefully with "painstaking attention to detail". They've commented more than once that since this isn't an open world game they've gone double time on the set pieces and making everything feel just so within the mission settings, so hopefully we'll have time to stop and smell the flowers between hails of gunfire and gouts of bloodspray.

One of possible reasons.

I expect cut-scenes to be rendered within the games engine so I highly doubt thats taking up that much space. I am honestly stumped, maybe just maybe theres a 2nd trailer for GTA V in there somewhere
