I still play it occasionally on my PS3. It’s held up extremely well.

 

But it would be juicy on the PS5/Series X with the extra horsepower.

R* stopped selling Max Payne 1 and Max Payne 2 in steam for some regions!!! why!?
I wish it was possible that R* and Remedy work together! Remedy can remake MP1-2 + Remaster MP3 + make MP4!! everyone will win!!

I was going to post this now. Very weird. They weren't removed like the trilogy, you can still find them in steam, but you can't buy it

trying to get this game to work with a trainer.....I can't find a trainer for v1.0.0.255, which is the latest version and the one I have.

 

I have a trainer for v1.0.0.171 but can't find an .exe anywhere. how would I downgrade?

 

the trainer that I am referring to is Flingtrainer.....do they make an in-game trainer like they do for GTA 5 and RDR2?

they seem to care about it. how about we get a PS4/PS5 remaster? I think it's eventual, especially given the announcement of Max Payne 1 & 2 remakes.

Nobody cares about a damn soundtrack though. Port it over to PS4/PS5 or remaster it. It's Rockstar Games not Rockstar music or Rockstar records they're a videogame company. They tried the music sh*t years ago and it didn't work.

I don’t mind the soundtrack (it was badass). Also, music is a huge part in several of the games they drop but I’m well aware they aren’t a music “company”. I’d definitely welcome a remaster though of Max Payne 3. I can’t wait to add this vinyl record to the collection. Purchased a record turn table a few years back and Vinyl physical things are cool.

 

Might even pour a few shots and listen to it depressingly in a corner of a room to get the real immersion. 
 

Actually, I had to reread my post. Yeah, I agree. f*ck a soundtrack lmao. When I woke up and saw that post Rockstar did yesterday I was like “holy sh*t” are they gonna remaster it? But then… sorrow creeped in.

The soundtrack is good and I like it, but there's no way in Hell that I'm buying this. But I'm sure plenty of people will.

 

When they did a run of GTA V soundtrak on vinyl that was limited to 5K units, and vinyl LP sales have only grown since then... 14 years of straight growth, and a quarter of all album sales, in the UK at least.

 

Cassettes are doing well, too, wouldn't be surprised if they put out something out on that format when they come around to doing a soundtrak release of VI.

Decided to dust off my 360 copy since I haven’t played it for a while and it’s still as awesome as ever. 
 

The tone, gunplay etc are so on point. It’s a shame it seems like it’s been forgotten over the years especially since R* started focusing only on GTA and Red Dead. Hopefully this exposure reminds people of what a great game it is.

The tone isn't good

It lacks the noir tone of the previous two that made the series unique

MP3 just feels like a generic action game sadly
