If the server host had the ability to kick, ban and set the server name, that would easily solve which servers you're able to use car spawners, etc. at. I'm sick of trying to have a "normal" Free Mode game and some asshole is changing characters, spawning that stupid tug boat at the airport, or using rocket pistols. First thing I do is vote to kick the player that does it. If you can't play multiplayer by the rules, then go use your stupid c*** cheats in Single Player. Nice to see these assholes gone. Sorry but all of the abusers ruin it for the rest of you. It's like in Army Basic training if you dont keep up with the rest of the group your trainer forces the entire class to do more because you were being slow. You're ruining the game for other people and this way Rockstar will even limit the ability to mod even more. It's good that mods don't work in multiplayer at all. I hope Rockstar will now make it more easy to mod the game for the singleplayer, like total car conversions just like GTASA. There are allmost 3000 different cars for GTASA, over 1000 cars for GTAVC.. Why did Rockstar ruin the game for those modders and made it impossible to mod cars to GTAIV.. It makes the game a lot less fun and it is mainly the reason I bought GTAIV for PC (I also have the xbox version), just for the (car) mods. Im thrilled rockstar kicked the modders out and I hope they keep battlin them to keep it that way. Got on mutli player the other day and didn't have some nab spawning vechiles all over the place, or any of the other annyoning mods that you use. Part of the greatness In Iv is finding the cars you want, and knowing were everything on the map is. So wait for the sa-mp team to make IV then you modders can have a blast!! Also, I'm not disappointed at all that they fixed a problem, but I am upset that they completely tossed out modding. I'm also frustrated that R* and all you haters are so god damn ignorant. Do you people not even realize how many other games support modding and how many developers actually encourage it? And when I say modding, I'm not talking about shooting rockets from an uzi, I think that sh*t is weak. I'm talking about new models; i.e. vehicles, weapons, character and buildings. I'm talking about misson mods and damage system overhauls. I'm talking about the kind of mods that other games have, millions love and play online. So, you people never looked forward to seeing some of the great things that can be done to the game and then mess around with those new things with your friends online? Think of some of the vehicle mods for VC, those were awesome, wouldn't it be great to download a mod that adds new content and then play online with it in IV? Of course it would be... There's no reason they can't allow older versions of the game online, so that those who wish to mod and play online could stay at an older version of the game and still access GFWL. And if you were using older versions of the game then all you would see in the browser are servers using the same version as you and the problem would be solved. But nooo, they have to completely disallow older versions of the game from even accessing GFWL online. So that's really the only thing they would need to do; allow older versions online and version matching connections only. Or as I have said before; pure and un-pure multi-player modes, then we all would be happy. But all you retards lambasting the mods, modders and those who use them are just unknowing haters. I bet that many of you would download a new mod containing new motorcycles and play it online if you could, but now that can't be done and you're happy about it, lol! Ignorance is bliss eh? You do realize that the reason for the low sales is the horrid reviews of the game and general issues it had when coming out. And the high hardware requirements when most people have 3 year old PCs and dont plan to buy a new one for a while. And most people can't enjoy what they have when children run around ruining multiplayer for them. And I actualy think 30% of people who bought this game did it just to play online. When most games are this expensive it means they are really good so you spend the money, then you get a sh*tload of obnoxious fools and its the opposite.
