How on earth was that possible?? i thought R* eliminated all the mods in MP but here they are again. And funny part was, when a player asked how did he get the mod working online he said "I use patch 1.0.2 n00b" and left the game. Is it true that we can still go online with patch 1.0.2? So I decided to ask them, at the different time, of course, why do you people keep doing it? What's the point? Guess what, both of them said to "have fun with their friends, we aint disturbing other people" Not true, when it gets to the point, that trainers are able to be used again, they're killing people, because it's part of the fun. Maybe if Rockstar can't think anything to stop these cheaters they might have to do that Allow/Disallow for Mods Allowed for the host. Also have like a Punkbuster setup. So mods are back, report people in Multi-player games like deathmatch but if i start a server and its MY server I should be able to use my car spawner with my friends and if you come in and say im cheating your a bitch. Go make a server yourself. Dont come to my server and complain that im having fun with my friends. I dont even mod to harm people. Ive never abused anyone who doesnt have mods. If people are abusing me with rockets and sh*t i make my car invincible so they cant anymore and i drive off. Griefers dont like mods so they can just piss people off. Mods are good cos they screw griefers up so badly. I hate griefers so much so i just make my car invincible and hurt no one, yet the griefer complains im being a bastard for not letting him ruin my game experience? This is pure crap. Granted, modders in Multi games like Deathmatch and anything competitive are pure scum and deserve nothing but bans, but to say im a cheater for giving my friends cars in my own server and not let people grief me? It will be only yours if its a private server not public. So when you host make all of your slots private Max Slots: MAX then only invite your friends.. so you don't be pissing off public players when they come in and play normally without cheats. This means nothing I am just saying as it is and I don't have any respect at all for Cheaters. They are the far worse players I have ever play against. Seriously, no one would be that stupid to say he's the one using hacks, health cheats, and other stupid stuff in multiplayer. Therefore we can't be sure if you say the truth with this car spawning stuff. Modding is tolerated in Single Player, and that's why this time Rockstar didn't do a file-check system for SP'ers... only for those who are trying to play Online. And one more time: The reason why we hate modders and cheaters online isn't because of those who just use their spawners to help someone out. Sadly, there's more of those griefing bastards out there. Game crash. Game and Windows crash. If Game and Windows crash and you can`t go back to Windows that means you need to restart you PC manualy not on the good way, so soon or latter you Mainbord will die. All it takes is one person to ruin it for everyone. Rock* can't determine who those people are so mods are off-limits for everyone. I haven't seen anyone using mods in MP since the patch but if this is true, I think we can expect another patch shortly to address it. Either that or modders will start getting their accounts perma-banned instead of just seeing that lovely message screen. Either way is cool with me. MP modding was ruining the game. Mostly playing Team Mafia Work with other great players and had no cheaters whatsoever. In addition to this the game didn't crash a single time thanks to the new patch. Whatever they did it fixed just about every issue I had with the game. My position on the modders is do whatever you want, just don't come to my ranked games and do it. I want to play legit and play against other skilled players. There is a way to handle the cheaters. In non ranked games if your group seriously does not want them you can vote kick them. In ranked games you can kick them before the game starts. This obviously requires previous knowledge of the player to determine if they do cheat or not. Keep a list of people to kick! For me at least there is a group of people I play with often that I know are not cheaters so there is not much of a problem when we encounter one.
