CrzChris4
After getting my first 100% completion in San Andreas for the first time, I thought I'd play this one. As to why, I have no clue why I was drawn to it. I'm currently at "From Zero To Hero" in the storyline and around 55% in total progress. I'm going to continue to pluck away at it. beckmo
I've completed all of the storylines so far, all the taxi missions, watersports, drugs, loan shark etc etc.... And I'm only on 43.3% Takes the piss lol I've never even tried to complete it 100% before, until a few days ago, but I think it'd be more interesting to try and complete it before finishing the storyline missions, because after that, it just gets a bore

The Horror Is Alive
I've done it without cheats. It's a tough GTA though.
Smiley001
I guess this is my next GTA that I'll make 100%. LCS is so far the first and only GTA I have ever made 100% (twice) on the PSP. I'm doing everything without cheats (hate em ) and I'm currently at Forbe's missions in the storyline. Even have 50 balloons collected to give me a little boost in the weapons department. Next will be SA on the PS2.
Scorpus
I got 100% ages ago, but I only started posting on this forum a few days ago so meh. I did it once with cheats, once without. Some of the stunt jumps were a bitch to do
nerner
I didn't think that stunt jumps counted towards 100% completion? Or do they?
Flesh-n-Bone
I didn't think that stunt jumps counted towards 100% completion? Or do they? Yes, in every GTA you have to do them with the exception of San Andreas.
nerner
I guess that makes sense, as in San Andreas there are like 70 jumps. Whereas in VCS there are only roughly 30 jumps to do.
Flesh-n-Bone
And 36 jumps on PS2 version. Plus some more fun vehicle missions with time limit and 5 more rampages.
nerner
Like the PCJ playground missions? You can play them on the PSP aswell, but it freezes when it comes up with the game menu, as it is trying to update your history in an event that is not supposed to be played on a PSP. Flesh-n-Bone
There are two more PCJ playground missions. As well as a couple others, amongst them a Crims on Wings look a like which is way harder and done on a Skimmer. There is also a Land Sea and Air Ace look a like done the other way around, starting from air to sea and then land.
nerner
Do all of those side missions still count towards 100% completion on the PS2 version?
Flesh-n-Bone
Yes, with one exception. That exception can be any random side mission. It can be Skywolf as it was on my last 100% playthrough. It's weird, the thing is you can get 100% without 0.4% that you get for some stuff. Someone once said they got it without completing air rescue, which is kinda weird. But you can't leave out any unique jumps, red balloons or rampages like you would expect because the final one of them gives 0.8% after completion. nerner
Is that the famed rounding bug that I hear so much about?
Flesh-n-Bone
Yes, that's what the rounding bug is. You only complete 99.6% of the game and get 100%.
nerner
But you have to do a lot more work than on the PSP version anyway.
GTA Phreak
But you can't leave out any unique jumps, red balloons or rampages like you would expect because the final one of them gives 0.8% after completion. Actually you can leave out 9 balloons, so you can get "100%" with only 90 balloons popped. You can also get away with only owning 25 empire sites. It's only USJs and rampages that pays extra for the last/doing all. Beware that there's another glitch (the Hostile Takeover glitch) which will cost you 0.4%, - if you got that you can't leave out anything %-related. The rounding "bug" is probably a quick and dirty fix for the Hostile Takeover glitch, - I suspect R* knew there was a glitch somewhere and simply lowered the bar. This is all PS2 specific btw. beckmo
I've completed all of the storylines so far, all the taxi missions, watersports, drugs, loan shark etc etc....And I'm only on 43.3% Takes the piss lol I've never even tried to complete it 100% before, until a few days ago, but I think it'd be more interesting to try and complete it before finishing the storyline missions, because after that, it just gets a bore I gave up on that save. So I've decided to start again, this time without cheats and I've found it easier! I'm on 40.4% at the moment, and I've only done one mission on the East Island so I'm pleased. I'm going to try and get the empires completed as soon as possible as I own 17 out of 30. I've maxed out four of the six reputations and done most of the unique jumps and rampages on the first island and a couple of races too. I'm quite pleased with how far I've come so far

Flesh-n-Bone
How'd you do that?Did you do a load of side missions first or something? I did everything possible to be finished quickly after you finish "Soldier". The hardest of them was without a doubt vigilante. Then after the second mission, Phil's Shooting Range opens. Completing all of that gives you 49.2% plus 0.8% for the storyline missions, which makes it 50%.
nerner
Maybe it would be possible to complete the game even more, I shall try.

I don't think I'd do it that way though, simply because I'd get fed up of the side missions and I'd start to do the story missions. I prefer to spread it out a bit. So how long did that take you? The side missions.
