Just to be safe, I'd recommend you wait a bit and see if steam updates their version too. Just completely eliminating the ability to have mods online is wrong. I think stopping the mods from ruining every game was important and necessary, but modding is also important and therefore there should be a pure online mode where absolutely no mods can go AND there should still be an un-pure online mode where mods may be used.
