Make sure you are using the original "LaunchGTAIV.exe" that installed with your game. Will it work if we use the official no-cd launcher from SecuROM? Thanks for adding an anti-cheating measure. Now I can enjoy the online again, hell yeah! Take that and stick it up your ass*s cheaters! Downloading and installing right now. Make sure you are using the original "LaunchGTAIV.exe" that installed with your game. After installing the patch I was getting EFC20 as well. First I thought that its because of the mods but as I removed all of them the message was still there. Using the original LaunchGTAIV.exe fixed the problem and I was able to start the game and get to the menu. After checking the options screen I tried starting the game but during loading it crashed (no error message) only windows error reporting. I thought the savegame might be corrupt so I created a new offline account and tried starting a new game. I got through the loading screen and the intro audio started playing but after just a second the game crashed. Same thing no error message. What's going on, really not in the mood for 40 minute reinstall because a patch ruined my perfectly working game. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

About modding thought, my SparkIV fails to launch due to updated .exe, can anyone confirm if texture mods work or not? My game reset all of my custom textures after applying this patch.
