Psymn321 Posted March 21, 2009 Share Posted March 21, 2009 I don't mean if there's a change in texture, I meant if they're no longer disappearing and if the shadows are fixed, etc. Pop-in was nearly entirely avoidable before this patch. You simply had to use -availablevidmem 1.6 (ish). When i used -norestrictions i found that half the road would dissapear on bridges at loading points and buildings would go from detailed to distant detail when i was stood right next to them. P33t Posted March 21, 2009 Author Share Posted March 21, 2009 The patch is about 55 mb small. alexouille_77 is the King, he found the right directory C:\Users\[insertYourName]\AppData\Local\Microsoft\XLive\Updates\5454083b for me. (Vista) I think its possible to be uploaded. Psymn321, you have to upload only the .cab-File, its like a .zip or .rar, everything is in there. I was about to post that the bench that Badman sits on only appears when his mission is available, i.e. Badman wasn't sitting on an "invisible" bench, but I guess that's irrelevant now... Also good to know about the anti-cheat attempt to disable mods. I don't mod GTA IV, due bad experiences with SA, so it doesn't affect me. I will wait for tha patch to be uploaded on R*'s support site. Despise auto-updates (esp. TF2, because it's mandatory if u want to play it)!
