My game is still working after the update, but mods/scripts and skins aren't working, neither in singleplayer nor in the multiplayer.

How it possible that you can get 40 fps with high textures and this size and with this graphic card and processor ?

I`ve gut better PC that you and i get 20-25 fps with medium textures :|

Ok apart from some stupid error on my part, the game will run just fine (when I remove all mods and scripts).

A couple of things are suprising to me though.

First: "You cannot access multiplayer with modified files. You must restore the original files in order to access multiplayer" - That's great Rockstar, at least an effort has been made to implement some sort of anti-cheating protocol, as Freezer89 pointed out in a previous post.

Second: Every time a patch is released, I always test graphical tweaks including SLI. So, with a neutral attitude I enabled SLI. I was suprised. Below are the results:

WITH SLI ENABLED

Average FPS: 52.94

Duration: 37.25 sec

CPU Usage: 76%

System memory usage: 53%

Video memory usage: 84%

Graphics Settings

Video Mode: 1152 x 864 (60 Hz)

Texture Quality: High

Texture Filter Quality: Highest

View Distance: 67

Detail Distance: 100

Hardware

Microsoft® Windows Vista" Ultimate

Service Pack 1

Video Adapter: NVIDIA GeForce 8800 GT

Video Driver version: 182.08

Audio Adapter: Headset Earphone (Logitech USB Headset)

AMD Phenom II X4 940 Processor

WITH SLI DISABLED

Statistics

Average FPS: 53.95

Duration: 37.13 sec

CPU Usage: 78%

System memory usage: 51%

Video memory usage: 89%

Same Graphics Settings, Same Hardware

As you can see, there is not much notable difference between ENABLED and DISABLED. Before this patch (1.0.1.0 and 1.0.2.0), there was always a NOTICEABLE fps drop with SLI enabled (usually 20). But this time, I could hardly tell the difference. SLI did still have a slight lag at times (loading the inner city) but, if the results are this good, perhaps this will help some people still struggling to run this game.

Well, I've got 640mb on my graphic card.

Dunno really, in first patch my FPS was like 25-27, with the second- 32-35, now it reached 40. I'm really surprised to be honest.

How are the textures in this new patch?

The same.. ?

Why would they be different? They still disappear though.

Haven't checked this out and when I read through this topic alot of people say the patch is a 'hoax'? (not appearing/downloading with their systems).

By the way: I read that you couldn't go online with modified files... so not even with skinmods? Seriously, customisation isn't cheating... editing gamefiles (concerning handling/weapon wielding) is cheating and should be the only thing that isn't allowed.

I hope I can still play online with my awesome skins...
