chngdman 2
That is true it is illegal unless you make your own roms and bios rips... downloading is never legal. You can own ten copies, you can still be charged for downloading. You are entitled to one back up of copy protected software and you must make that backup yourself. But no one really cares anyway, cool topic, eyes open for more!
gamesguru 133
This game is a sunken ship wasteland. I find it hard to avoid the f*ckers when out on the boat........now that's a challenge.
Mince 102
I noticed there was a dealer named El Burro. Could this be considered an easter egg?

Jordy. 4
I noticed there was a dealer named El Burro. Could this be considered an easter egg? That would probably fall into the Misc. section, let's put it up there.
The Horror Is Alive 3
I think it's the second mission when Huang references the Hot Coffee mod... again. R*, the joke is getting old Still, it's an easter egg.

Sorry, but could you make the screenshot in the form of a webpage? Like the one I have now? I'll add the hot coffee reference. It made me go 'ha' when I saw that cutscene but yeah, it's getting old. fiercedeity9 0
'Hot Coffee' Reference: After the second mission, Huang asks the triad chick if she would like to come in his apartment for some 'coffee'. Har har. An obvious joke referring to the controversial Hot Coffee mini game from San Andreas. Just because someone invites them for coffee doesn't make it a hot coffee reference. The Horror Is Alive 3
Also notice the Fruit logo looks like two ass cheeks with something between them. Think about the term "fruit" being used to describe gay people sometimes One of Rudy D'Avanzio's (or whatever) hideouts is called Miss-T, and it looks like a brothel. Misty was a hooker in GTA3, and one of the first characters you met. Also, about that Watchmen reference; I met that guy, but I don't think it's a reference. The badge looks a lot different. chngdman 2
Personally, I likened the round fruits to nads, not butts, but that works too!

cold fusion 33 1
Well the Fruit LC was a computer in Vice City Stories (1984) which was supposed to parody Apple and I think their product the Apple II. It's an easter egg because of that.

It's an easter egg because of that. Yeah, this was in VCS first, so mentioning an obvious cock and balls (or arse) reference on an old GTA logo isn't necessary. The billboards aren't really classed as easter eggs, they're just a normal part of the game. But thanks a lot anyway guys I'll remove the Watchmen egg since a few people have denied it. Haha, that wasn't a moment of naïvety I'm just saying. If a girl invites you in for "coffee" in real life it doesn't make it a hot coffee reference. Hot Coffee was a highly controversial sex minigame in SA that led to the game being classified Adults Only and pulled from shelves until the offending content was removed. Rockstar was obviously made VERY AWARE of this scandal. Maria invites Tony in for coffee after one of her missions in LCS. I think Niko sometimes askes if he can come in for coffee after a date in IV. Now Huang Lee is asking if he can come with that chick for coffee in CTW. It's obviously Rockstar reusing the same old joke over and over.
ScratchCard 7
Kind of annoying glitch: I was on my way to Pay'n'Spray to get my NRG resprayed. After doing it once and not getting the color I want, I drove right back into the garage. To hard, I crashed my bike onto the wall, 3 hours passed (like with a normal respray), and then Huang walks out, alone. Pay'n'Spray stole my NRG
Agerbon 0
i think the smiley face is a refence to the loonie gang in GTA2 Now that is quite plausible, seing the fact that the guy is a total loonie... Good thinking. Smiley badge!

cold fusion 33 1
Think I have found another one. One mission for Zhou Ming is called "Dragon Haul Z", a blatant reference to the unfortunately popular cartoon "Dragon Ball Z".
