DeeperRed
I'm not saying that, you are assuming many things. I said AOL is more then 9 a month, I stated above the only affordable Wifi is maybe 1.5Mps per second at $35 a month, which is likely tied to a plan for more services, or two year commitments. If I could get AOL broadband for what I pay now, that would work, I can barely afford what I live on while out of work. It's no party here, my friend. Always the people with jobs thinking it's easy getting a job, it used to be, I know, I was able to do a number of jobs in 1990!! Sorry just did a quick google search and I have realised how diffrent it is in AMerica. Broadband is cheap as chips here. £5 for 2Mbs and about 5GB of download,
Tornado Rex
Always the people with jobs thinking it's easy getting a job, it used to be, I know, I was able to do a number of jobs in 1990!! I told you not to go there. Now I'm calling you out. A search on minnesotaworks.net for 25 miles around Minneapolis requiring a GED gave 212 results. monster.com gave 87. Like I said, I live in the same state as you. I know for a fact it's not that bad around here. ~ Proud Supporter of the Child's Play Charity! | GTANET + Child's Play ~
Slamman
It depends, I want a job I know how to do, there's nothing that's working out for me, but let's stay on topic, shall we. I don't go into people's house UNLESS I'm a guest, but signals from Wifi are found everywhere outside, if you Happen to have a Wifi active device, be it phone, PSP or laptop, it will auto lock on a frequency that's open. The main thing is that, it's not been advertised as illegal, land you in jail, and Maximum PC magazine SURE didn't say that either.
SWEETSAPRIK
Do you really not see a difference between having a device which connects automatically, and you sitting in front of their house, halfway up their driveway trying to connect? Slamman
As I mentioned, though, I was being incognito at night, but obviously not late enough at night! hahaha I got my answer, I'm done with this line in inquiry. I tell you one thing, I was very excited to find I could get Wifi on my PSP, which is how it all started for me, then getting a laptop, it was not just to get online, it has and remains to have MANY uses. I advice everyone to have a laptop. The main use was for editing my digital photos, I love photos, and I own several cameras...so digital photo editing on the fly is one of my passions. I don't even have Photoshop's latest, but I still very much enjoy it As it stands, though, YouTube is one of my favorite sites and with dialup, it's sheer pain. Exkabewbikadid
Slamman, if you want to steal people's bandwidth, you may as well get smart about it and build yourself a WiFi antenna so you aren't sitting in someone's front yard or in an alleyway trying to gain access. I personally don't care if people who are too ignorant to secure their wireless networks have some goon using their connection. Technology is becoming too advanced for people just to sit around and remain blissfully ignorant about the consequences their uneducated asses might face. It's technological Darwinism at work. Slamman
Ima goon, I know haha Thing is, I'm not doing this daily, but weekly I am. It was one time in someone's driveway, but hey, alleys work for me (it is the Burbs after all) haha I just haven't seen the legalities being made an issue, which is why I was surprised. I was at the coffee shop as mentioned the first time the cops came along, They didn't threaten me with jail time.
