Outcast
I know many of you would disagree with my choice of fav car but i, for some strange reason, absolutely love the Cadillac DTS
sivispacem
This will be my next car. I like the S2000, though I'd not want to drive one every day. They're very, VERY tail-happy at even the slightest suggesting of dampness or a smidge too much throttle, plus the engine can be a drag on motorways and, well, really at any time when your not pushing harder than 8/10ths. Mind you, one of the Jackson Racing supercharger kits might push the bottom-end torque up to a decent enough level to allow overtaking without stirring the gearbox up too much. Lurch
Wasn't really a fan of this one's color or wonky FnF-looking bodykit, but with the paxton supercharger, it was actually pretty rapid and sounded amazing. Outcast
the colour choice for that S2000 really is incredibly bad, completely ruined an otherwise good looking car
*MURDOC*
I fully agree, totally obnoxious. I'm not usually one for yellow cars anyway (although I have a few exceptions).
Lurch
I don't know if there's a yellow car I ever really liked. Maybe a few RUF's in that color. It's even sh*t on Ferraris and it's one of their main colors.
Outcast
actually, you know what does look good in yellow? EDIT: rented this bad boy my last trip out to san diego, took it up all the way to san jose and back Edited January 12, 2012 by Outcast
Lurch
Was never too big on the DTS. Basically the last of the boring FWD generation. Now the newer STS on the other hand, is damn sexy.

Outcast
what?! i dont understand, i mean not everyone takes their cars on track days so what does such precise handling mean?!..does no one appreciate comfort, luxury and leg room anymore?? super, i am wasted off my face right now. my typing is incredibly accurate. fear it i will be back in london tomorrow and i will upload some pics of other sh*t later, innit bruv
Lurch
I've never really known Cadillacs to be all that room to be honest. My friend has a 93 Fleetwood Brougham and it doesn't have near the legroom/kneeroom my little BMW has. I'd go so far as to say it's one of the most cramped vehicles that I've ever been in. Really not an efficient use of space considering it has a 121.5" wheelbase and is 225" long. Like the polar opposite to the original Mini (one of the roomiest vehicles I've ever been in). Outcast
actually you're right lurch, i was quite surprised by the lack of leg room in the back of the DTS. but still a very very comfortable car and I think it looks AMAZING EDIT: I have to admit, I am biased towards american luxury as i have been driving german and japanese cars most of my life. the Lincoln MKS being one of my dream cars Edited January 12, 2012 by Outcast
Moth
the Lincoln MKS being one of my dream cars Really? The Taurus that has the really ugly grill, but is pretty much the same as the Taurus? That MKS? Also it's sad that the STS was killed off to be replaced with a front wheel drive car. Formerly known as The General

Styling-wise, they look nothing alike whatsoever. You can say that about the MKZ, considering it's just a rebaged Fusion. But the MKS? Come on. They just redo the grill and rear end somewhat. @Outcast - How can said rebadged totally sh*t taurus-lincoln be your dream car when your driving a twin turbo W12 Bentley? Outcast
a dream car is only a dream car for as long as you dont have it, once i buy the MKS it will no longer be my dream car..as I will have it
Lurch
I just don't see the appeal of it. It seems incredibly under-engineered in comparison to everything else you have (aside from maybe the hummer). It's like you've got all these precision Rolex watches and then go and pick up a plastic dollar general special.

Lurch
If you're going to get a byegawd American Lincoln, at least a Town Car. Body on frame, RWD, V8, long as a ship, etc. A proper American barge.

ska
Surprised you haven't taken a look at the Cadillac CTS-V. Awesome car, especially in wagon or coupe guise. 6.2 V8, 556hp. I'd readily take that over a Lincoln any day. Actually, any Cadillac over a Lincoln.
Lurch
Actually, any Cadillac over a Lincoln. >? But yeah, CTS-V, XLR-V, STS-V, etc over anything made by lincoln these days. Edited January 13, 2012 by Lurch
anus
Agreed. The XTS Platinum looks soooo sexy: Its nice to see that they haven't gone overboard on the 'futuristic sharp angle spaceship' look and has everything in moderation.
Lurch
Wait. WTF? They're killing off their awesome, beautiful, Euro-fighter RWD sports sedan STS for that FWD V6 boring bland-looking piece of sh*t? Well, I guess they were at least getting it right for a while. Shame to see it end.

Those overhangs, though..
Lurch
I despise cab forward fwd designs like. It's the same basic look that every joe-schmoe sedan has had for the past 20 years. You can see the generic moving cloud look that the Lucerne has in it. Going from this razor-edged beauty to that. At least we still have the CTS. Lurch
WTF? The XTS is AWD not FWD. There will be FWD and AWD versions. It will still have a transverse engine and trans signifying a fwd-based vehicle and still has that same horrid shape that comes with such an engine placement.
