I would have thought 3 stars would be enough, as that is what you get in that mission for Forbes and Lance with the decoy van.

Nice one! So it's like a garage? Can I put my car there and for example , go somewhere else , then come back , and my car will be still there?

No, sorry it doesn`t work like the savehouse garages...

It`s just an example of how you can create working doors with the Cheatdevice !

Alright, here`s an update of my current To-Do list !

 

Old stuff:

 

Here`s what I have on my to do list so far:

 

! Call police backup to help you if you`re attacked

° San Andreas like bunnyhops with the BMX

- An enterable interiors mod

° More progress on the Shoplifter Mission

° A new version of the Bodyguard Mod (Just an upgrade with improved bodyguard AI and things like unrecruiting him)

° A new custom mission in which you have to deliver different stuff to all kinds of places

! Spawning stuntramps in front of you by the press of a button

- A "State of Emergency" mode in which peds attack each other with all kinds of weapons

° Make the Learjet solid and add proper plane handling

 

- = Still left to do

° = Already done

! = Failed to work

 

I`ll add more stuff to the list if I get new ideas !

If someone else has some nice ideas just let me know and I`ll add them to the list aswell ! icon14.gif

 

I`ll post the stuff I`ve finished in the Cheatreleases thread !

Ooops...

Sorry mate, I was moving that post to the Cheat Releases thread and because empty posts are not possible I`ve just filled it with some sh*t for the moment !

 

I`ve replaced it with Vic`s little dancing show instead ! smile.gif

 

And I`m still working on the rotation !

I already know, how to rotate it !

 

But it`s a bit complicated, because I have to adjust the rotation speed, and I don`t know how to do this yet, but I`m working on it !

 

I think I`ll release a second preview of the mod, which has the rotation integrated !

I Just need to sort the speed adjustment out. icon14.gif

I just got an incredible new idea !

 

A Helicopter Taxi !!!

 

I`ll use my "Helicopter Tours" as a base !

And I`ll allow you to select your own destination using the Map Marker:

 

#cheat Teleport to Map Markerif(getchar(0x9a63412) == 1){setfloat(pplayer+0x30,getfloat(0x9a63428),getfloat(0x9a6342c),-500);setfloat(pcar+0x30,getfloat(0x9a63428),getfloat(0x9a6342c),-500);}

 

This cheat contains all the info about the marker we need !

 

This will be a lot easier than the Taxi Mod, because rotation adjusting is not needed for the helicopter !

 

I think I can get it done today !

Nice, so the helicopter will take you wherever you want to go, but how will you get the ped into the heli with you to drive?

I think you guys should start messing with the gamesaves. You could actually save stuff to the memory (for example, saved teleport locations) by editing the hundreds of statistics - like how many cars are blown up, etc, and save it to a gamesave. Then you could load it with a cheat, thus allowing you to literally save information!

 

For example, here's some pseudo code:

 

#cheat Load Information//WARNING - Using this cheat edits your gamesave statistics - Only use if you are ok with this!//Save your game after using this cheat to save info!if(getint(cheatedBeforeCheckAddress) == 0xFFFFFFFF){ //If we have cheated and saved before    loadedInformation = getfloat(someAddress);    moreLoadedInformation = getfloat(anotherAddress);} else    setint(cheatedBeforeAddress, 0xFFFFFFFF); //Otherwise, set the check to 0xFFFFFFFFDo something with the loaded information

I have to check through the stats, if there are any float stats available ! (I won`t use the % completed stat) smile.gif

 

If I can get it to work with such a simple cheat, I`ll try to make some more complex use of this idea !

If you edit the player statistics (cars destroyed, times wasted, etc.), and save the game, the game will save the data. So, you could edit it, save the game, then at another point, load the game and get the data to be used.

 

And Uppa, it won't matter if it is a float or not, it just need to be 4 hexes long.

 

Do you guys have any of the stat cheats?

I get that bit, I use that tactic for stats saves myself sometimes, but I still don't get how it can be used for more complex cheats.

I have the people killed and necks broken stats, I also had the number of cars blown up and total days passed, money, and total time played. I will see if I can dig them up for you.

 

 

#cheat Change the number of people that you have killed to 999999999setint(0x08BB41B4, 99999999);#cheat change the number of necks you have broken to 99999setint(0x08BB4208, 99999);

 

 

Like I said, I will have a look for the rest.

K, well, then you could start of with...

 

#cheat Save/Loaded Cheated//If you have cheated before, it will teleport you to Leaf Links. If you haven't, it will save that it has.if(getint(0x08BB41B4) == 0xFFFFFFFF){    teleport(0,0,0);} else {    setint(0x08BB41B4, 0xFFFFFFFF);    off();}

 

 

You could then try the cheat about by turning the cheat on, saving your game, loading your game, then turning the cheat on again.

 

If this works as intended, you should then be teleported to Leaf Links after having loaded and turned the cheat on.

It's the address of the number of people that you have killed, but we are using it as a check to see if we have cheated before or not.

Ok, I tought I had to use float adresses to save the x, y, z coordinates, since they are stored as floats !

Anyways, I was searching for some useable stat adresses and I`ve found a couple of them:

 

These are the adresses for all the stunt related stats:

It starts with the "Longest insane jump height" and goes on until "Longest 2 wheels distance" !

I`m not sure if it`s the case with all those stunting stats, but it looks like two adresses store the numbers for one stat

 

Example:

 

#cheat Set Longest insane jump height to zerosetchar(0x8bb3cf8, 0x0);setchar(0x8bb3cf9, 0x0);

I think I`ll use the ped spawn cheat I`ve just created for my Air Taxi Mod !

Having a real pilot controlling the helicopter makes the whole thing a lot more relistic...

 

I think I can get the cheat finished now !

The problem is that we need stats that are rarely used (race track times, etc.) so that the player doesn't corrupt the teleport locations.
