In case you guys read that post of mine, where I said I would leave...

 

Hey, I'm sometimes getting a little "over emotional", if you know what I mean.

I've changed my mind, I won't stop cheating yet !

 

It's sad to hear, that DDM leaves, but it's understandable.

I was also very close to that point, but since I still have some fans around here, I thought I can't just leave now !

 

Don't worry guys, I'll continue !

Hope you'll stop by from time to time, I'll have some new cheats ready for you over the next week.

 

I still have lots of projects to finish, plus new hope with traffic and ped spawns, but more about that later...

I thought I would stop back in.. I've been incredibly busy the last few weeks and my work has a very demanding schedule for me as school gets closer. So I will be around at some point with timer codes and such I have a bunch of addresses that I just need to put together so they function correctly! Glad to see some cop spawns, although I had found this a while back? The vehicle spawn with pop up police deal any who nice to see upas back! How was vacation m8? Alright I'll cya guys soon.

Anyways, it's good to see, that I'm not the only developer still left.

 

And I would love to see some timer codes, as I was never able to get them to work right !

Request eh? I have one to give you a challenge, but I don't know if it's been done or if it's even possible...

 

A long time ago I found something out while messing around with the water levels... Whenever you jump to get out, the places you jump to aren't fixed things where you can only jump and grab onto there. When I raised the water levels high enough, I found out that any surface could be grabbed onto if you were close enough.

 

My idea for a code that I never saw completed was that you could somehow trick the game into thinking that you're in the water at all times so you can jump and grab onto any edge at any time, or even a code that forces the game for a split second(one of the ()off codes that would work to just activate and turn off immediately) to make the game think you're in the water and the code could also make you jump at the same time, therefore grabbing onto any reachable ledges.

 

Has this been done yet? If not, is it even possible? If I were any good with the coding side of things I would try myself, and I think I have a fairly good idea on how to do it (although I may be as wrong as possible).

My idea is to make the water rise, for as long as you are pressing Square and make it go back to normal, as soon as the climbing is initiated.

 

I'll try it out, if it won't work we'll have to find a value that tells the game if Vic is in water or not.

What about we all ask Sanny builder team to add VCS/LCS SCM compiling? I know las trelease was in 2008, but does it matters? They got decompiling and I don't think it should be hard task to compile the same thing. So what about it?

I would love to see that too !

Main.scm modding is easier than Cheatdevice developing.

 

But are they even working on new versions anymore ?

I haven't heard of any more updates to Sannybuilder since CLEO became popular...

Some things I found out about climbing/water:

0x098B4C18 is normally 0x04, but changes to 0x84 while Vic falls into water, then it changes back to 0x04.

0x098B4C19 is normally 0x00, but counts from 0x00 up to 0x04 during the climbing animation, then it changes back to 0x00.

0x098B4C1B is normally 0x00, but changes to 0x80 while Vic is swimming and the 0 at the end changes while moving around in water.

 

Manually changing those values doesn't seem to work, but we'll see...

My psp memery card became currupt and all my stuff was dystroyed

but luckly

i made a few backups of my iso music ..ect

but i lost all my cheat lists saveddatat

 

But i aint giving up yet

my 1st made cheat may be dystroyed but iam now working

on a new cheat1!

 

BTW decomplying the vcs main.scr couldn't be that hard

i mean our hackers decomplyed gta sa and vc main.scr's

are there any reall good coders here that can help us?

The only real problem with adjusting the water level is that once you change it 1 time, there will always be water covering the entire map at the level you changed it to. Therefore making all low areas, like anything underground, filled with water. And thanks for trying to do something with this.

Well, I think it should be possible to reverse the water everywhere cheat !

Other than that this idea should work !

 

I still haven't found the perfect time between pressing the button and rising the water to make it look realistic...

Hey Upa, how did you get your hi-res mode to work? Do I need to use your gamesave? I tried it and it keeps crashing. =( I saw a post above about it making the cheat device not work afterwards until you restart.

cuz i hate it when i make mistakes in construction mode

and have to restart my psp

since iam in the GEN -a cfw with psp 3000

i have to reativate hen and load the loader

Just takes too much time

No, it shouldn't crash, it just makes the cheatdevice menu disappear, so you are unable to deactivate the cheat !

 

If it crashes, then I can only guess that it must be because you have a different savegame than I...

Same for me.

Low Res works perfect, but High Res has the problems you mentioned...
