Illousion
It's a '67 Volvo Amazon. I'll be turning 16 in November, so my father will be using the car a little during the year. 'Nuff chit-chit, here's some pics! And a "tease pic" Â The interior is not as bad as it looks on the inside, and the outside almost has no rust at all. Quick Stop
If you and your dad put a few coins into restoring her you could end up with an excellent little motor. Congratulations, treat her right!
Illousion
Â If you and your dad put a few coins into restoring her you could end up with an excellent little motor. Congratulations, treat her right! Well, a small "restoration" (guess we can call it that lol) is planned. The car is at one of my fathers freinds garage where today maybe we are going to take out the seats and the carpet and service the car. We'll do a few more things but i highly doubt that it will happen today. When we're done we are going to do an MOT test (It's called that, right?) and then bring her home and start using it. dog_day_sunrise
Old Volvos are awesome. Needs disk brakes all round, cut springs, 12"-wide dished steelies and a 2.5 Turbo motor from an 850R. Â Good choice.
ryuclan
Reminds me of a Chevy Bel-Air and nice ride man. Very sexy indeed.
Illousion
 How does it smell inside? Like the 60s lol.  Visited the Volvo today.  The overdrive gearbox, was in the trunk, lol.  This is all the stuff that was in the car. Most of it was in the trunk.  We washed it, this is before  And after Dreaming of California, where the sun never sets.

Don't worry bout that, the original was in the trunk, so i'm gonna swap the suck-ass "racing" wheel for the original one. Dreaming of California, where the sun never sets. Damien.
Nice Amazon you got there, I have the same dashboard in my A-traktor duett. Gotta love the old volvos. Lurch
Nice car. How are the floors? Carpet does hide a lot of horrible things.
Illousion
 Nice car.  How are the floors? Carpet does hide a lot of horrible things. Funny you should mention that. We took out the rear seat and the rear carptet, and there was no rust except for a little on the surface. Still gotta take out the front seat and sh*t though. Illousion
Alright, it's soon time for rims. I'm thinking of getting either Chrome Reverse; Or Super Spokes; What yall think? Dreaming of California, where the sun never sets.
Quick Stop
Its a tough desicion to decide between the two, personally i think they will both suit the car, i think im pushing towards the chrome reverse though dude. Whatever you pick will look awesome anyways
*gta star*
I'd go for the top one personally, as said above, they will both look good, regardless of what you choose. Â
1066ant
The Chrome Reverse is a snazzy wheel. Â Wish I could get an Amazon but the mpg is too low for me to afford, and the engine is too big for me to insure. A shame, because Volvos are tough old cars and it would be easier to look after than the Morris Minors and other British cars I have been looking at. rmmstnr
 The Chrome Reverse is a snazzy wheel.  That's right, it looks like the perfect wheel for a sweet project. It's great to see a project like that these days, keep up the great work! Curious, what do you have in mind for the interior resto-work? How awesome to score a sweet 1st car like that, and you've even got help getting it back together!
