I don't like the thought of someone being able to kick me because I manage to get a kill on them. I'd like to think people were more mature than that, but it's pretty clear from all the modding that has gone on, that they aren't. I agree with you on that. It is too risky since abuses had been made in our GTA IV pc community. I would not be suprised to see former cheaters, and suspect gamers, looking for another avenue for to continue their contempt towards us by disrupting the fairness and decency of proper gamemanship that most of us do possess when we are playing in multiplayer. Waynio Posted March 29, 2009 Share Posted March 29, 2009 Hi, all the 1.0.3.0 patch kept cheats out for a bit, been enjoying some great racing with many others pretty much every day, today I witnessed the comeback of vehicle spawning . My bro was playing team DM and people on his team were spawning helicopters even thou they could not even control the heli. But like I have already said the game needs proper anti-cheat which gets updated regular, not patches by rockstar once every 2 or 3 months. Over the past week I have checked out burnout paradise which was utter rubbish compared to GTAIV racing and trackmania which is ok but still no-where near as good as GTAIV racing, I still not tried race driver GRID, but GTA racing is in a league of its own when its not being spoilt. I really hope rockstar invest in a 3rd party anti-cheat app that automatically kicks number tweakers aka trainers. The game is fine as it is at 1.0.3.0 it just needs a real anti-cheat. Yeah your probably right because, 1 - it is a very resource hungry game which could have been better optimized so that will limit the amount of possible players. 2 - cheaters spoil the gameplay completely and rockstar wasted good money on protection which was cracked very fast when they could have invested that money into a strong anti-cheat app keeping loyal fans happy. 3 - the multiplayer part should have been adapted better for pc so you could have fast game servers like any other good pc multiplayer. Is there any game copy protection out that has not been cracked? I genuinely beleive this game could have been 1 of the best multiplayers out there, it is the best racing game I have played online anyway, just lag and cheats wreck it.
