In making my missions, I had a cool idea for something that can be added in the next dyom volume.

-the ability to record the movements of actor: say you want an actor to duck,roll to the left,roll to the right and then shoot at you,well, a record movement feature would allow you make the actor do that.

I think it would be a really cool feature and add alot more freedom in how the characters behave.

Actor as Objective

 

1. Have option "objective" to select what we must do with an objective (actor):

- Eliminate = Kill him

- Protect = Protect him

- Spy = Follow him (there will be spook o meter)

- Follow = Follow him, if you can't catch up with him, you fail

- Kill & Take the photograph = Kill him & take his photograph

- Take the photograph = Take his photograph

 

Car as Objective

 

1. Have option "objective" to select what we must do with an objective (car):

- Destroy = Destroy it

- Protect = Protect it

- Follow = Follow it (No spook o meter)

- Drive by = The player will be automatically place on the passenger seat (front) to shoot

I got another ideai dont know if its suggested anyway:

To make 1 "Hostile" team that will attack everything! i mean civilians your gang the enemie gang the neutrals everyone!

That would be really cool for Mass war and gunfires,etc (thinks i like) devil.gifdevil.gifdevil.gif

 

 

~Anxious about v5~ i have some many things to learn(just started)and so little time!

Maybe i am lazy and worthless to learn SCM code..And this mod rly helps me a lot and i am counting on it!And of course in the DEVS that are making it,keep up the good work guys!

For DYOM site:

1. Put the same name of missions/author name in the same row, I mean I really dislike that there are a missions that appeared at the top with "part 2" letter on it, then it's so boring to find the "part 1", so I want the same mission name & author placed at the same place.

 

2. I think it's better if DYOM sites is like this : We make a new mission, and it has so many parts, then we type the title "DYOM"(example), then it contains its parts, understand?(I hope so)

 

3. Put option "newest mission" at DYOM site, so we can see the newest mission. And for the mission that have downloaded with the biggest number, placed at the top.

 

Back to DYOM mod:

 

1. I really recommended the "free animation" that I have mentioned, I bet it would useful!

 

2. Player = if we set him with bare hands, there will be no weapons, and if we set with pistol, you only have pistol, without the previous weapons we have, so we have to put some weapon pickups to give him those weapons.

 

3. Add "Copy" & "Paste"

- Copy = select this to copy an actor/car/object.

- Paste = select this to paste the actor/car/object that we have copy.

A. Stand anywhere that we want

B. Press Space to confirm, then the actor that we copied will be placed there

C. Press F to exit,

D. This option can be continued until you press F

So, you can place the same actor/car/object at different location faster!

Would it be possible to like, have different objectives at the same time, then, the player can have a choice between different things, I think this would be a great add. Like, I'm in front of a man, if I kill him, the security will come to my ass, and if I just go away to the other objective, they don't. Well I hope you got my point.

1. In cutscene, the enemy actor don't hit the player/friend actor in vehicle, so please make the enemy actor will also attacking in cutscene, whether the player & friend actor in car/not.

 

2. Objective cars in cutscene can't be destroyed, please make it happen, and then if the objective car destroyed in cutscene, the mission won't failed, as long as you teleport the player outside the car.

 

My ideas for DYOM game features:

 

Drive by = Please categorize this as an objective:

1. You'll be asked to place a vehicle

2. Then you'll be asked to place the driver model

4. Then the route, so you have to drive the car. The way you driving will be the way it driving in game

3. Done, when you reach this objective in game, you'll be automatically placed at front seat near the driver, and you only need to shoot.

 

Scare o meter = This is an objective too:

1. You'll be asked to choose a car(only car)

2. Then you'll be asked to choose the victim(actor)

3. You'll be asked to place the victim, at the top or at front

4. Done

I have a nice Idea..

 

After set actor animation, give option

 

-Hide if Dead

 

-Re-Spawn if Dead

 

-Remove Armour = Remove armour after finish mission.

 

-Enable Actor Drop Weapon = On/Off

 

 

Hide if dead will hide actor automatically if he died.

 

Re-spawn if dead will hide actor then spawn it again in him position.

My idea when making an actor, you also can also choose some objects as the actor's weapon (not for attacking, just only as an object) like beer bottle, tv, foods, etc.

Add an animation "toss"

1. Select this anim, the actor's anim is the anim when CJ fall from heigh (I dunno what's the name of this anim)

2. Then you will be able to move the actor everywhere (just like we move an object)

3. Hold shift+up/down to maintain the heigh

4. Hold leftclick+up/down to tilt the actor

5. Y to confirm

6. In game, this actor will "fly up" to the point that we have confirm

7. Then falling down

 

Reason : I would like to make the actor like being crashed by a car/something like that.

Okay, I am pretty sure that this is not implemented in the mod, but if someone would be so kind as to enlighten me if it was then I would be happy.

 

• The ability to give money rewards upon completion of missions, as otherwise it doesn't seem right getting respect for a mafia hit up, where money would be more appropriate.

 

 

And how about the ability to change the amount of cars and peds on the street, so as to make deserted missions, and so on and so forth.

Meniu--->Actors--->Animations--->Walk/Run--->Chose between Walk/Run from point to point or Walk/Run to point and stop.

i think he is trying to say that patrick and dutchy need to add the possibility to stop the animation of the actor. or change it without hiding and adding a new actor.

No, i mean when you creating an actor and when chosing animation Walk and/or Run then you can chose to patrol from point to point or to point and stop, so we don t need to hide actor every objective or cutsence.

I think you should add...

 

 

-Gangs follow you in another vehicle

 

-Enemy do a drive-by

 

-Edit clothes, stats, looks, weights, heights, and all those other things

 

-Make your own place using the tools

 

-Make camera move

 

-And make the actors move for example...move in cutscene from dancing to shooting

 

 

That's all my idea...isn't these ideas great.........right? confused.gif

I said in another thread that there should be the option to convert between DYOM code and CLEO, for the ease of coders who don't want to undertake a big project, I might aswell say the same thing here aswell.
