An Marker in OBJECTIVES:

 

"Last Marker" the last marker is a special marker that can be used many times... You can place it only once

 

Example I will place "last marker" in objectives add objective, Add Last MArker, at the end of the mission

 

When I create my Friend Actor, I can SET the option:

 

"Must go in the Last Marker with the player"

I think we definatley need a Search feature on the DYOM site. Going through 15 pages of missions trying to find the one you want takes a while. And soon there will be more then 15 pages.

If you don't want that the actors do basic stuff, you have to give them other properties. They have to have some properties, so if you don't want to set it, it will be default. Very logical, imo.

Moving Camera in Cutscenes.

Actors driving cars in cutscenes.

QTE-Quick Time Events - Pressing buttons to survive or to pass objective.

Player doing drive-by like in last mission of Gta San Andreas.

Follow actor objective.

The best would be QTE if you can do it.

And multiple objectives.

Do what you want to do first.

For example two actors to kill and they are spawning once not first and second after.

And actors getting out of car doing something and getting back to car.

And area you cant leave or you will fail the mission.

And killing actor which are not objectives but you have to kill them to pass.

And putting start point on normal SA map as a cleo script.

It means that it would be cool to play missions on normal San Andreas without DYOM.

Starting point on NORMAL San Andreas Game.

When you start making mission at the begining you put the first marker which starts the mission.

Sory for "and" every time. Im from Poland and Im not very good at english.

With different progressions about WIP versions, versions downloads links, fixes, revisions, and all the stuff about Design Your Own Mission.

 

 

- In Tools, add a "Take screenshot" option. Once option is chosen, it saves a .JPG file (best format for automated screen takers, you can convert it to .PNG manually using Paint! wow.gif ) in GTA San Andreas User Files Folder called dyom0000.jpg

If I make another one, dyom0001.jpg appears! biggrin.gif

Clean all actor Objective

 

Add option at Y ==> Objective

This effect will HIDE ALL ACTOR...

 

Very, Very, Very nice!! Hehehe.... biggrin.gif

 

Then, we can continue create actor without scared with Crash because the dead body is too much!!

I bet since 1.0 they didn't wanted to make so many features but this time a lot of people are asking for them so they must make them and they're getting tired of doing it tounge.gif

No, we're getting tired of pricks like you, nagging about when the next release will come out, without having the tiniest clue about what it takes to create such a mod and implement the advanced features we would like to provide.

 

We have never given and will never give a firm date for the next release, as it is hard to predict how much time it takes to get things implemented and stable and how much time we're able to dedicate to DYOM. Considering that we have normal dayjobs, other obligations and all kinds of other personal issues to take care of also.

 

You got to keep in mind that we're not paid for this work, and that we're just doing it for our own fun and to enable others to create the missions they have in their mind.

 

Instead of being patient and being glad with all possibilities you already have in the current version, all you do is complaining that we take too much breaks and are to tired to do stuff.

 

Who the F*CK are you to judge us. angry.gif

 

The constant nagging about when V5 will be released and complaining about the lack of functionality from pricks like you, will more likely further delay the release date, than bring it any closer. If there will ever be a V5, it will most certainly not be because of your moaning, but in spite of it.

 

It would be for the geniuses who create brilliant missions with the available functionality without complaining and for all the people (including ourself) who enjoy playing these missions. cookie.gif

 

For us, those missions and their authors are the encouragement to further extend the features of DYOM.

My motivation is completely gone because of members who reply like TNTX32. We took a break, after spending many hours in developing this mod, and all we get is nagging. Because of that, we didn't even start with version 5 yet.

 

Don't forget we made a mod that nearly everyone thought that was impossible to code. I think that you all can make very nice missions with version 4(.1), so why keep nagging?

There are still plently of different missions that can be made and possibilities with the current version. So, TNTX32, instead of nagging about when V5 will come out, why don't you make some fun missions for us to enjoy and we can return the favour by making missions for you to enjoy, but if you keep nagging, you most likely won't get any.

 

I don't want to be involved in any arguement you start whatsoever, so just think of me as some random geeky noob with 1 post.

They dont use computer for days and script all the time new DYOM.

So dont be stupid and give them a break.

Think about if there were no DYOM.

What would you do?

If you cant do your OWN mission creator mod and dont waste our time in here.

I think that you dont stop making DYOM mod.

Its awesome and a lot of people are waiting for it.

My idea for the next DYOM contest :

- Best story line

- Funny mission

- The most creative mission

 

And if there's no possibilities for DYOM to be scm/cm/cs, at least make it enable to put 8 DYOM files into one, so it will be a mission pack. Oh yeah, I think DYOM should have time locker ; to lock the clock during mission, so we can make a long night/day mission

 

 

By the way, could ya tell me how to put our mission for contest?

DYOM v. 5 will be released when Patrick and Dutchy get their motivation back.And thanks to a few certain people on the forum, who nag a lot, that may not happen anytime soon.Stop asking, you are only annoying.The current version is still good and offers lots of options.

Add car option "must stay in place".

 

So when the player moves it, any objective will be paused and he'll need to put it back there.

 

 

Add objective "pause"

You make a wait objective, where you can select how much time and you got to wait until it ends.

all objects can be set to

- move normally (they will move if you hit or attack them, and also will fall if you spawn them from high place)

-stay on a place (like this version, they will stay on place, even on air)
