Actors/Objective-Actors be able to follow/drive in their own cars, I want to be able to drive my Freeway and have a gang follow me or shoot others off bikes(like in TLAD) or be able to square off in a Hunter vs Hunter match

 

Ride as passenger: Set one checkpoint for start and one for end and the Actor will drive you there

-Frendly Objective Actor->If he dies->Mission Failed

 

What would be the objective to achieve with such an actor?

 

You can already spawn a friendly normal actor and set it to "must live".

If such an actor gets killed, the mission is FAILED.

when set actor accuracy, give two option

-Range

-Accuracy

Well.. that is my idea.

don not forget to give actor an infinity range so actor can shoot from VERY long range.. icon14.gif

and we can add some multiple actor. so at first time, just set the actor setting then when

add the actor, just press Y.

 

Oh i forgot..

when setting a mission, give option

-Ghost Town

- People follow you in another car

- Gang members shoot at you (from another car)

- In the tools you should add a vehicle spawn tool for mission designers to move around in cars.

- Actor can drive cars

- Actor can be a driver for us ( Like you are riding taxi in Real Life )

Car Features

 

- People get in a car

- People do a drive by on people/you/someone

- People follow you in another car

- Someone get in the car and you must follow him

- And all the car features

 

Stats Editor

 

- Selecting the clothes

- Force the player to buy predefined clothes/haircuts

- Selecting the haircuts

- Edit player's stats (Max Health, Stamina, ETC...)

-Marker at actor or car

Can add marker at actor or car.

So the marker can add to actor or car NOT only for objective.

 

-Bar

Bar like actor health at the bar.

 

-Reaction

Give reaction after objective such as

After finish the current objective, set the wanted level become 6 or 5 or 4 or 3 or 2 or 1 or 0 just up to the designer.

 

-Actor Checkpoint

If we set animation of actor walk or run, i can add checkpoint for actor to walk or run to the checkpoint

 

-Team not Gang

Change the Gang to Team

Such as Team1, Team2, Team3.

if set player or Teleport objective, give option Team NOT Gang.

When add actor, change Gang to Team too...

Of course if player is set Team1, the actor that set Team1 is friend of player.

The other team is enemy.

 

-Unvisible Marker

Can not see the marker

 

 

-Add more limited objective!!

-Add more limited pick up!!

-Actor Drive car

-Player as passenger and can add shoot mode

-Current player can do animation

New ideas ! Add a objective "AREA".Its like a checkpoint but biger.Like a square,unvisible.

Example:When I get on that area marked will start a new objective.But the area is marked just in design mod

 

 

Checkpoint circle for planes.

 

Option for a frendly actor->must recruited (G or H when you play) Will be like an objective.When you recruit him the next objective goes on.And Must Life and Recruited

 

A feature where you can make actors to stay on a area (groove for example) without to put actors one by one.Something like that in the first exemple.

Money

 

- You must have money to do something

- Someone force you to give him some money

 

(Y/N)

 

- Y/N conversations. If Y then "do the selected things". Same for N.

 

Example:

 

[You need $500 to pass... Y/N]

 

Y = 500$ lost + You can pass and you can continue the mission or you just won it

N = You get shooted or you lost the mission

Hi! I'm one of DYOM user. I really hope for some DYOM updates like this in the future

1. Enable to make some dialogue during the gameplay.

2. Can make the actors do more than one animation

3. The actors ride vehicles by them self (I want to make a car-chase mission)

4. Please add more animations! (I also wanted a dead animation, the actor really dead)

5. The player can shoot from a vehicle, while an actor drive the vehicle (like in "Just a Bussiness" mission)

6. About the walk and run animation, the actor only can walk/run for straight direction, why don't you try to make them can walk/run to the places we want (Like put some markers to any places, then the actor will walk/run to the markers that we placed). For run animation, why dont you put an option to change the actors' run speed? I think it's good, and for walk animation, can you give some walking style?(Like old lady walk, groove member walk, lady walk, or maybe CJ's walk)

7. I realized that I can't put ?,/,+,-,_,=,(,),:,",' in DYOM. Can you please make it possible to put those marks.

8. I think it's better if DYOM can make a marker for each mission we made

So, what I wish is I can put more than 1 mission in 1 DYOM file, and there are some markers in each places to start a mission that we made, just like in GTA San Andreas. (If it is possible can I convert DYOM file into SCM file??)

9. Please, if you can enable DYOM to make more than 1 objectives at the same time (It will make the mission going hot!!)

10. Please, add more objects (please add bloods too as object)

11. I suggest you to make lists in DYOM. For example, if we select "add object" then there are box that contain the name of objects and we can click them with mouse, I think this will make mission making more faster. (Not only for "add object, but also for other like animations, actor, player, cars, objecttives,etc)

1. When browsing interiors, LC can be chosen and there should be another teleport to inside of the bistro.

2. In the tools menu, you can give the player weapons, for things such as seeing what is solid or not. (There are many other ways this can be used too.)

Can Make:-Spook-o-Meter

-Damange/Actor Health Bar (like at the spook-o-Meter

-Trip Skip (Will be good for long travel missions)

-A Objective Actor->Frendly but marked

-Run Speed (I would like to make a mission where I follow a actor running fast)

Can Make Thouse ? I know isn't high priority

Just to be clear and prevent disappointments:

 

The fact that things are suggested here will not mean that they will be present in the next release. Some ideas are just simply not possible with the engine, other things are possible but don't fit well with the current architecture of DYOM while other things would fit, but will have to wait until later because other things have more priority.

 

Things that are easy to implement, sound like a good idea to us and fit well, will however be in the next release off course.
