Vanilla Shake
On a side note, does anyone know which episode Randy keeps taking off his shirt and getting in fights at Stan's baseball games? That's one of my favorites and I can't even remember what it's called. The Losing Edge. TC718 / <629 / CF5

The only thing i ever say is "I thought this was America" Albiet I live in England and hardly anyone gets the refereance

Pat
Ya, this week's episode is pretty dull. Have to agree. I liked the ending, though, along with Cartman's constant begging for a copy of Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars.
Vanilla Shake
That was pretty f*cking awesome, especially the ending. I laughed my balls off at that. TC718 / <629 / CF5
BigNekkidSnake
It was okay. The margaritaville thing with Stan was a bit lame after awhile. It was okay had some funny parts.

Personally thought this episode was bloody awesome, better than "The Coon". Some classic scenes, the whole Margaritaville thing being a metaphor for why companies are getting screwed and bailed out. The banker at the start was awesome too. "aaaaaand it's gone."
Effy in Chains
Hell that was a bloody awesome episode, with the headless chicken and Obama parts making me laugh the hardest retrospectively. I'm off to watch 'The Losing Edge' now after what i have heard in this topic, it's one of the couple i haven't seen.

The banker at the start was awesome too. "aaaaaand it's gone." Haha, "Let me just put that in your retirement fun, make it work for you annnnnnnd it's gone." The entire Bible reference had me laughing and it was definitely funnier than the Coon. Another good one "What is he doing?" "He's paying for everyone's debts"
SIKKS66
The hell... since when did Paramount Comedy in the UK start showing new NEW episodes. I always thought they were half a season behind but Margaritaville is on now. I'd seen that Obama episode on UK TV a few days later but I thought that was a one off. Meeeeh. Omnia sunt Communia
I was shocked as well. I thought we were a couple of months behind, not a week behind. I'm not complaining though. It means I can come in here and chat with people about the new episodes.

DeeperRed
Just saw the latest episode My faith in Matt and Trey has been restored. It was funny as hell and usually while I watch TV i play a little bit of ChinaTown wars, I never looked down once.

Yeah hopefully they can turn it up a little though. That April Fool's Episode sounds pretty funny. I was thinking the opposite, all my friends think they’ve been awesome (like you), but at the moment none have really made me smile all the way through like the majority of the previous episodes have. As i said, for me, it just seems like they're getting jabbed with checks to make episodes and come up with ideas. My main concern so far is how every episode (maybe excluding the coon) have been dealing with real life common issues (ie. the Jonas brothers and the financial crisis), before they just made any silly idea into some of the greatest episodes (such as the girls "future telling device" that was just really one of those origami paper things - episode 'marjorine' that was one of my favourite episodes. All I in all, im probably just being grouchy, i just always liked the little 4th grader issues they have, but yes im looking forward very much to the next episode. DeeperRed
The ression is a good topic as its timeless, as there will always be economic problems. But Jonas Brothers will be forgotten about and as will the episode. Just watched Canncelled again, f*cking classic episode. Season 7 is sooo gooood

The weird 4th grader stuff was a hell of a lot better than the stuff they ripped from news papers. The funniest episodes were the ones that had barely any relevance to any current events. Jonas Bros episode was pretty good but I think they put too much on JB and never really had much of a story besides them. Episodes like the Imaginationland trilogy, Cartman gets an anal probe, and the snuke, die hippy die, and good times with weapons stand out in my mind. Not to mention Erection Day lol. SIKKS66
Don't forget to bring a towel. I like the episodes where it seems Matt and Trey don't give a crap anymore. "You're the worst character ever, Towelie..." - Cartman "I know." - Towelie Gotta admit they do some good spoofs. Sure, the Cloverfield one wasn't that great but The Return of the Fellowship of the Ring to the Two Towers was genius. I liked the whole Indiana Jones raped metaphor in The China Probrem too. There'll probably be some more random "4th grader" style episodes in the weeks to come. That April Fools one sounds like it could be. Either that or they're gonna do another Terrence and Philip trick
