Vanilla Shake
With the thirteenth season of South Park starting on the 11th, I figured I'd get this topic started in a similar fashion to last season's topic, a week or so in advance, prompting discussions for previous seasons, expectations, etc. Personally I'm pretty stoked. I haven't really watched anything on TV since season twelve ended. Also, the Complete Twelfth Season will be released on DVD on the 10th here in the states, just a day before the new season starts. So, chat away. TC718 / <629 / CF5
Don Garcia aka NjNakedSnake
I was wondering when you'd make this topic, or if you would at all. SO... What do you think they'll be doing parodies of/ripping this season?
Chunk
Knowing South Park, there'll be at least one episode ripping a religion. Oh, controversy is in the air.
Fnorg
I'm hoping they make fun of this Asian invasion, i.e. nerds going off on Japanese chicks, jacking off to hentai, gameshows and so forth. It's gonna be aired in HD, which sounds great, but does a cartoon need 1080 vertical pixels? Whatever, at least I won't have to watch the show pillarboxed anymore. Neal40000
-The wave of girls wanting to become the girls from the show 'The Hills/The City'. Thinking they are Millionaires, but they already did this on stupid spoilt whore.. -More on Obama maybe ? like a crazed white power cultists episode or something like that. Im looking forward to it so much, me and all my friends have been fans on SP since the beggining, we've watched every episode more than 3 times now, and would make ourselves millionaires on south park question shows Theres only ever been 3 episodes i havent liked much, so yeah i expect the next season(s) to be awesome ! And also ive heard the romour of a new film being made by trey and matt (maybe another SP one, who knows ?)
LanceVanceDance07
I love this show, but personally I think the last season wasn't their best. But anyways, i'm amped about this season. I would like to see a parody on the current economic crisis.
DeeperRed
They better step up from the crap of season 12 NB: Season 12 was crap on South Park standereds. On actually general TV standereds it was great
MC.
I'm hoping for a parody on The Dark Knight with Al Gore.
BigNekkidSnake
I'm hoping for a parody on The Dark Knight with Al Gore. That would be something to see. I can't wait till they come out, I don't have cable but I remember they usually leave their new episode for the week on southparkstudios for a while before it says "cant play due to contract restrictions" or whatever it used to say. Season 12 was okay and some episodes were great while they had others that were f*cking weak as hell.
Vanilla Shake
I'm hoping for a parody on The Dark Knight with Al Gore. We probably would've gotten one during the second half of the season in October, which was not long after the film was released into theaters. I'm not expecting a spoof. I'm thinking they'll probably do something related to the current state of the economy. TC718 / <629 / CF5
Rhoda
I'm thinking something daft involving the pregnant 13 year old (if the UK means much to Trey and Matt), the Oscars and some Obama. I can't really think of much current going's on that they could use as satire. The economy's an obvious answer, but didn't they already do one of those for season 12? Though things are more up the sh*tter now than they ever were...
Saggy
Well, I thought season 11 and 12 were pretty lame, especially with all the hiatuses they had between airing. I'm not even going to bother to follow this season, I'll just watch it from time to time. Mike Tequeli
Watching South Park is never a hassle for me, I do it all online and I'm sure Paramount doesn't appreciate that much. In Canada though the episodes are almost a week behind when you guys get them. It's too bad, I'd love for them to legally stream high quality videos, the ads wouldn't bother me. Anyway I think South Park is still funny, but they're so topical these days that you have to watch them quick for them to still have some value. I'd like to see some non-parody episodes too. ObsydianRaven
There should be an episode that lampoons Rihanna and Chris Brown and their relationship.

DemonKing
I dunno if it's been done, but maybe a parody of Madonna and Guy Ritchie split up. Yeah that'd be pretty funny, maybe it sparks a war between England and America or something. lol
