Know what his response was? He said: "So what I am cheating, f*ck you all." There you go. People play this game to f*ck other people's game experience. His name was Alexandroses. I only aged 24 peace no fooled around kill player, I play object & ramp spawner & stunt & cop hunting in free mode, I need anti-spammer vehicles like tugboat. Sometime I played team deathmatch & deathmatch, I saw some guy cheater godmode & smg rocket & car spawner too quick. I didn't cheater in team DM & DM server, I good pro shooting, I need anti-cheater. Sorry what planet are you from or what drugs are you on to imagine even in the slightest a cheater has the right to be on a server ruining the game for all clean players ? Get a grip ! I use god mode because all i want to do is do stunts and drive around, never do I randomly kill someone who doesn't have any mods. The second mod I use is a car spawner. I don't spam cars, just one every now again when my previous one gets trashed. People always use it to spam cars while driving and causing players with slower computers to get kicked because they're running 'too slowly'. That's f*cking annoying. I don't support the ban of modding, but I do support banning people who mod from entering online servers with mods enabled. There should be something like a server option to allow or disallow mods. Too bad GFWL sucks donkey dick and doesn't support any of this. Now all of you 'f*ck you, who are you to say how we should play the game' guys. It's not your game either, who are YOU to say everyone should just deal with your weapon mods, god modes and car spawners. It's you guys who are playing the game the way it's not supposed to. And you cant say they cant do it because when you breached the terms of agreement by playing online with any mods you lost all rights to online play. It is still cheating, regardless of intention. So either Rockstar or Microsoft bans the lot of us, our you just stop moaning, as it becomes really tiresom. You know what's really tiresome? Entering an online game with idiots spamming a mountain of cars just to cause the slow spec users to disconnect. Or some c*nt walking around the streets while immortal shooting rockets. That's not the way to play this game. We (the non-modders) have every right to bitch and moan at modders if we don't want them around. It's just like the cheaters at CSS with aimbots and wallhacks. You wouldn't want them around either, right? I bet they enjoy their cheating too, doesn't mean that other people are supposed to enjoy it too or leave the server, that's not how it works. Legit customers are the one with the rights here. Not you. Or.. we can compromise a bit, and seeing as you don't support banning mods online, we might reach such a compromise one day. The only compromise I see is separate servers for modders and non-modders. This game has not been intended to be played with mods, so we really are not supposed to deal with you guys unless we want to. That's simply the way it is. R* does not officially support modding, thus the lack of official modding tools. It has always been 100% community effort with all GTA games. Just because a game can be modded, doesn't mean it's meant to be played so. Don't get me wrong thought, I enjoy modding GTA, my last install of SA was modded to the max and I still wasn't bored with it when I reformatted my HDD. What I don't support is the use of mods online with people who don't want them around. i'm not saying all modders harrass people intentionally, but using car spawners etc. gives them an advantage. When the time comes that GTAIV has car replacements available, I will most deffinately use them, BUT, I will make backups for online play to avoid conflicts. Same with any other mod. I'm interested in trying out the ragdoll mod myself. EDIT: Just wanted to add that althought some modders might not use the mods to intentionally harrass others, some do, and that alone is a good enough reason to not allow them online. If an exception is made for the well meaning modders, a lot of morons will also take the opportunity. Waynio Posted March 5, 2009 Share Posted March 5, 2009 i just witnessed the giant boats on racetrack phenomenon, it crashed a race their was about 16 people racing was just starting a new race and a pile of fire trucks appeared in middle of track seen people going much faster than everyone else seen people start with a supercar instead of trucks etc seen people start gta race readily equipped with uzi killing most at begining of race probably tons of other cheats which i'm unaware of too, there has been times where my car was not reaching max speed only about 3 quaters when the car was undamaged. i really hope rockstar add strong anti cheat function like punkbuster in the next patch as i'm sick of going from having great fun online to just being p'd off without strong active anti cheat measures this game is fairly useless online. Social club is going to become the next Cheetos Underground (expensive site with only 20 views a day and i think got shutdown) if they don't revive multiplayer. But I use a red annhilator and just fly around watching everyone in war. But often I don't even get noticed, if not somone asks "Why are you flyinga red heli?!?!?" BUT, I got to agree with you that LIVE is a total ASS-SYSTEM! LIVE is meant for console (Xbox & Xbox360) NOT for PC. Everything that get out on PC gets modified, even if its a free game. That completely blocked any modding of the game so they could get rid of hot coffee and any attempt to make a mod like that. And Gta IV has its filecheck system, although rockstar thought people wouldnt be smart enough to get around, we got past it easily and now we be modding. Waynio Posted March 5, 2009 Share Posted March 5, 2009 well i think i've had it with the multiplayer part of this game, almost every game i played this evening got spoiled. the idiots who are doing these hacks are not just happy with dropping a boat out of the sky for a 1 off laugh they seem to want to make peoples pc's crash through dumping 50-100 vehicles on a race, my fps went from perfectly fine to about 3 fps. i'm even running at low settings because of this [email protected]?t and it still kills performance, so i'm not playing it until anti-cheat like punkbuster is on it, if no strong anti cheat gets into it i will never buy another rockstar title again i enjoyed the mods on gta III and vice city for newly modelled cars and things that gave it a longer life, but hacks to kill a games fun in competitive multiplayer is completely messed up. Then my game went black and said "Connection to one or more players has been lost" I was like okayyy this is a new one and tried to open GFWL then my screen started freakin out and my game crashed. Restarted and joined them again and they started laughing all deviously frenchly and it happend to me again. Has it really been long enough for people to find exploits and infobooms? :-S I really just hope my game was acting up but I joined a seperate server and nothing, nada.
