gamerzworld
I don't see why R* won't release it on the PC anyway? There may be a chance after Microsoft feels it got it's monies worth on the 360. Microsoft is setting up a marketplace for G4W right now. Would also explain the whole some TLAD bikes being in GTAIV PC's files. (Why would Toronto bother with getting the model files from North and converting over the models to a different platform if they weren't planning on porting the episode?) Gforce
the chances of TLAD coming to PC are very high, given that R* used GFWL with IV-PC, and as has been said already, they're setting up marketplace on GFWL anyway, i suspect it will most likely get released for PC once episode 2 for IV-360 has been released. what i'd like to see is XBL go free, the M$ cashcow must be more than fat enough already given the amout of 360's out there. DexX
Why the download links are removed? It's copyrighted work, among other reasons. Locked until the staff comes to a final decision on this.

How come TLAC can't be conveted to another platform but everything else can? Such as xbox exclusive models to pc, VCS to VC, and so on. Doesn't make sense. Hellzone100
Hellzone100 did you use Xsata to extract the files. im sure you can use xsata but i just took apart my hdd and pluged in the 360's sata hdd into my pc then used a program called xplorer360. Once i found a file 1.7gb in size i used a program called wxPirs to decrypt it. Thos programs can be found here. http://dwl.xbox-scene.com/xbox360pc/develo.../wxPirs-1.1.rar http://dwl.xbox-scene.com/xbox360pc/harddr...er360.beta6.rar Use your copy and decrypt. Inside are a few files/folders you will see on the main page. As of now models/textures/HTML/SCO are unsuable. New Programs will need to be made and as for addeding things like weapons/cars once the time comes there will need to be someway of getting it out other then here unless the rules change. I do agree that something like this has happend for LCS/VCS and belive no action was ever taken. Edited February 27, 2009 by Hellzone100

Andrew
Back when VCS was new, there was no model converter and the similarites between PC and PSP were few and far between. So if people wanted parts of VCS on the pc, then they had to model it themselves, which was fine since it was their own content. But now someone has released a model converter, so people have stopped with the modeling and gone for the easy option of converting. VCS has been out a while now. TLAD is completely different, its a brand new game and within days of its release, people are already looking at cracking it and porting it to the PC. Effectively destroying any chances for Rockstar to even release it on PC. Not to mention it could end the days of Rockstar turning a blind eye to modding the game. Drunk Russian 9
Effectively destroying any chances for Rockstar to even release it on PC. Not to mention it could end the days of Rockstar turning a blind eye to modding the game. What makes you think there is a chance it will release on PC? The fact that this game is horribly ported and handled by a different company than the original developers? Face the facts, PC isn't getting anything special in this release. Not enough people have it working for them to even attempt to make profit from this DLC. //I'm going to stop, please continue your discussion, I realize now that I am creating a dead-end argument. Same way Hot Coffee was left in San Andreas. It's just because it's alot easier to hide something in than completely erase it. I hope I'm wrong about it though . . . chngdman
Came to steam on day one. Game industry is all about digital distribution these days of extra content to offset rising development costs. Content is exclusive to Live, not to xbox console. Game runs on live framework on PC. Live is creating a marketplace for PC. Steam and Live will distribute TL&D on PC.

It's just because it's alot easier to hide something in than completely erase it. I hope I'm wrong about it though . . . Then why would Rockstar Toronto get the model files from Rockstar North (they are part of the same company, btw) and take the time to port them to the PC if they weren't going to put TLAD on the PC? If they weren't planning something and it was a straight up port, those files wouldn't be there.
