Lost and Dammed DLC Decrypted

As many of you know the L&D was spose to be a 360 Exclusive.... or was it really ?? Any how i bought Lost and Damed from the xbox marketplace and then extracted the encrypted file onto my PC then i decryped the file container then extracted the files contained inside and here is what i got.

As you can see there is a xbox360 folder and a common folder. The xbox360 folder is basicly the same as the PC folder with a few minor diffrences. Lots of the data from this DLC which im uploading to Filefront can be used for developement/discussion or what ever you please. My Goal for now is to see if this DLC can be adapted to the Ps3 and/or PC. I ask any one who wishes to help to shout out. My Filefront links will be up as soon its done uploading. If you need a file just ask. cool.gif

If any one notices some files have E1 on the end. "E1 = Episiode 1" Which leads me to belive there will be 1 more expansion or more.

Thank you for posting the handling.ide! Can't wait to get the custom bikes' handling on PC. Would also like weaponinfo.xml so i can figure out how to make a new grenade type..

That will be easy, the hard parts I suppose would be The Lost MC Building, the audio and the missions

yeah i would say so too, radio stations/ johnny's voice box will be easy once audio import is available, but missions and mapping will be hard until we know more about the game

GTA IV itself updated on consoles to include the episode selector, I'm assuming that itself has a lot to do with this expansion.

 

If you get that working, then you could have full blown mods that could modify all kinds and stuff and you'd be able to switch between them an vanilla, much like how the Battlefield games do it.

 

Also Microsoft paid for 2 exclusive DLC episodes, so there's at least two but maybe more will come ater that too I don't know.

Great work Hellzone100. icon14.gif I really hope we can successfully port this to the PC.

I've been speaken to Hell over LIVE and he said that some of the PC files are similar, but the 360 uses ATI, and it doesn't need the shaders that the PC needs, so that could be tricky.

Well, i'm sure someone will figure it out. In regards to the models though, can those be easily imported?

360 Update link added. This update i think needs to be looked at first before the DLC can be ported over so I will look into this and report back with more info.

About time someone does this. It's great that the file structure and the file formats are similar to the PC version, that means porting TLAD to PC shouldn't be very hard.

further more i hope to bring mods to the 360/Ps3 version. btw Kimd41 this dosent work just yet. So it really is just data at this point.
