Andrew
3.0.1 will show the 3.0.0 line, since I haven't changed the version number yet. jkmit: Hmm I haven't noticed that, but there is some areas where it does need some improvements. I'm going to have to update it and include a detailed logging feature, I can see where it is crashing then.

jkmit
sorry to keep posting, but for people who want a smaller gauge, set a low res. at the main screen, like 800x600, then in game, after gauge is loaded, go up to a higher one. it may now be in the center of the screen, but its smaller. Andrew
I am hoping to change the gauge system so that it can be customised. I'm still writing the framework for that.

jkmit
you know what else would be cool? if it only appeared when your in a vehicle. its kind of annoying just walking around with a speedometer in the bottom corner. srry for double posting. didnt know there was an edit button Edited August 22, 2009 by jkmit
Andrew
Yeah it's only like that for when you refuel, really I should change it to only display incar or at a fuelStation. jkmit, please use the edit button! Don't double post.
Sinister747
Ah sinister, when you edit the values in the file. The price needs to be an integer as that is what it is set to in the script. Ahh that explains it, suppose it would be a waste of time to make it a single or double. But i guess some people might want the real fuel prices in there region (that's what i tried). Either way an incredible mod well worth all the hassle I created, sorry and thanks again
Andrew
I'll change the value from int to float, that way you can use real fuel prices. I'll change that for 3.0.2.
jkmit
I think this might be a bug, but I'm not sure. I get in one of my cars, at my safe house, the fuel is empty, the yellow light is on, but I can still drive. whats up with that? also, what do those 2 symbols mean that are to the left of the battery symbol? SID44SID
Gangsta Killa Also I've noticed, that if I delete button configuration from .ini file (e.g. Control, S - for speedo), then every time I press "S" during the game speedo appears or disappears. Your mod is amazing! It became more difficult but very interesting to play plot missions! Keep it up!
KorbiM
love to play with fuelmod again!!! but i still have the problem, that i don't see the fuelstations on the radar... question: can you make the speedometer, rpm and fuel gauge customizable like the speedometerIV, cuz i don't like the blue one... Your mod is amazing! It became more difficult but very interesting to play plot missions! Keep it up! Yep it will do since, when importing the Keys from the ini file it has a default option which must be set. So if you remove the key from the ini file and it can't find it. Then it reverts to the default option. Korbim, all that is coming eventually. I've got to rework my code so it is more effeicent, but the radar locators are planned again as well as a gauge framework to allow custom guages. jkmit
I noticed that when I took this mod off, my frame rate increased. if it could take up a bit less fps, that'd be cool, but if not, that's fine too. also, take it off during cut-scenes. that is annoying. thank you for acknowledging my request. EDIT: also, if you could make it so I don't have to keep restarting the engine when I steel someones car off the street, (like they're driving with the engine on, I take their car, and the engine turns off. I mean, if you're getting car-jacked, than, do you really have time to turn off the engine?) That'd be so cool. Andrew
I'll get hotfix out for the Q bug today at some point. I'm going to try and make the script more effceient, so all other work is stopped for time being until I can sort the script out. Edit: Just got to go through the 300 lines of code that make up the fuelTick method, and see if I can improve it in anyway. Andrew
I'd just like to apologise for the delay but we should have a fixed version out soon. I've just started my work placement for a year so time has vanished for me, lol.

gorgonut
Well done for the mod! Adds a lot of realism . I have v.3.0.1 and the fuel station icons don't appear for me either (do we have to edit them by ourselves using a command line - If I ve understood good?) Also when I call TOW5550100 or MOB5550100 nothing happens (no one comes, no money are detacted, no message displayed). Does anyone has the same problem? Thanks PS; Also in a future version it would be nice if we could call refueling anytime we want. Edited September 25, 2009 by gorgonut
IceWolf729
Nice mod, just tried this out ! One question though: Why is the speedometer/fuel gauge etc always active ? Even when I'm on foot it's onscreen ! Is there a way to make it appear only when you get in a vehicle (and disappear when you exit it) ?
