baptiste
I heard Husks have armour. If so, how the f*ck do you kill them? Yes, husks have armor on Insanity. And it's just ridiculous. I use a soldier, infiltrator and a biotic in my squad on husk missions. I like Infiltrator class the most so if my Shepard is infiltrator I use a sniper before they get close 'cause I'm very good with the sniper and slowdown in sniper mode helps a lot. And I also use warp ammo a lot. Garrus's concussive blast and Jack's improved shockwave are the best way to get rid of large groups of husks. Then I use incinerate on them. Once they overwhelm you you're f*cked. All you need to do is make sure they don't come in large numbers at once. Vanguard is also extremly good at dealing with husks, as you have you're own shockwave, you can replace Jack with Mordin, which deals with husks pretty decently. But similarly, if you have Jack, double Shockwave is just great against them. I prefer taking Grunt over Garrus though, he can wreck most things with the claymore shotgun at close range and take a bunch of damage.
papanesta
You guys kidding? Insanity was easy. There was only a couple of parts that were even challenging. End of Horizon being an obvious one. I'm even considering doing ME3 on hardest difficulty straight away, if possible. It just feels like how the game is meant to be played.
Creed Bratton
You guys kidding? Insanity was easy. There was only a couple of parts that were even challenging. End of Horizon being an obvious one. I know it wasn't very challenging all the time. But husks and krogan on insanity are overkill. Derelict Reaper mission was especially hard. Husks crawling out of every hole, Abominations and two Scions at once. On my first playthrough I started on Insanity and I didn't chose squad members strategically. I didn't know what to expect on most missions. So I just used squad mates I liked the most. I always took Garrus with me. Shepard and Garrus are like best buddies as far as I'm concerned. mrpain
So finally started getting into Insanity with my sweet Inflitrator. Should have listen to you guys before about starting a new game instead of NG+. Really surprised at how well Insanity is going for me now. Died only a few times and cloak save my life plenty of times. The only part where I got frusfrated was in Tali mission and not because I died many times but because I found that Geth Pulse Rifle! If I had known there were more weapons in Insanity to find I would have tried it many months ago!
Linki
I'm sorry, but I just bought ME2 today for my PS3 and I'm disappointed. It's just... I don't know. I want to like it, I want to immerse myself in the incredibly rich world, but it hasn't drawn me in at all. I really feel like trading it in. Not trying to do a psych job on you or anything, but when you say "my PS3" it sounds like you're approaching the game with baggage. Just release the inner fanboy and enjoy the game. I want to like it, I want to immerse myself in the incredibly rich world, but it hasn't drawn me in at all. Believe it or not when I first bought Mass Effect 1 I couldn't stand it. I played it till half way through freedom progress and gave up with it. Then a few months later I tried it again and couldn't stop playing it. However at the end of the day if you don't like the series you don't like the series. We can't all like everything, if we did life would be very boring. Anyway I thought I would post this video here, it isn't one of mine but it did make me laugh :-
Linki
I'm not going to trade it in and am determined to see it through. It is a very well made game, I just hope I come to appreciate it like everyone else.

CharmingCharlie
Hey CC, could you make a video of shepard being spaced but replace his character model with thane or jacob? I am afraid that is a few levels above my pay grade, I wouldn't even know where to begin or if it is even possible to replace the default Shepard at the beginning of the game. Linki
Finished it. That ending was one of the best I've experienced. Everything came together so well. Throughout my playtime there were a number of technical glitches like out of sync audio and invisible textures. This hampered my experience unfortunately, but nevertheless it was a good game. mrpain
Well I finally f*cking did it! Completed on Insanity at last! That '50/50 Achievements Completed' looks pretty sweet on my Xbox 360. Reward comes with a price though. Lost Thane, Jacob, Jack and Tali.
CharmingCharlie
Well this is a turn up for the books, as much as I love ME 2 I have always been annoyed by Bioware's sloppy work with some of the returning characters. The most notable sloppiness involves Conrad Verner, it doesn't matter whether you took the Paragon or Renegade route with Verner in ME 1 you still get the Renegade greeting in ME 2. Well no more, it seems a Mass Effect 2 fan by the name of Epic Legion has fixed the issue (yep a fan did what Bioware couldn't be bothered to do :- Mini instructions: 0. (X360 only) Move your save file to USB stick and extract it using Modio (more details in "Modding is possible" thread) 0. Backup your save file 1. Go here: http://b4rt.rootnode.net/masseffect/index.php/site/index 2. Register new account (no email activation required) and login 3. Open "My saves" tab 4. Upload your save file (.xbsav for Xbox 360, .pcsav for PC) 5. Click "Plot table" button 6. Untick "[Conrad] (3) Intimidated Conrad (Renegade)" Correct: http://i54.tinypic.com/2m349r8.jpg Incorrect: http://i53.tinypic.com/2uxy438.jpg 7. Scroll down and save changes 8. Go to "My saves" tab again and export your save in Xbox or PC format source :- http://social.bioware.com/forum/1/topic/105/index/7219368/1 This should not make Conrad and the Asari bar keep greet you properly if you were nice to Verner. If like myself you just can't be arsed now then the guy did a quick youtube video of the greeting you should have got if you had done the Paragon route with Verner :-

CharmingCharlie
New DLC incoming people, just when you thought ME 2 was dead and buried it rises from the grave yet again. Yep there is new DLC and it's the Mass Effect Genesis interactive comic that comes free with the PS3 version. Naturally Bioware appreciates the loyalty and patience of their long term fans and are happy to reward PC/360 users with this DLC for free ............... pfffffft yeah right, yep PC/360 users have to pay for it. At the moment it is only on the Xbox Market place and comes in at 320 MS points. There is no word on whether it will be available to PC users (I personally hope they don't insult our intelligence by releasing it on the PC). If anyone buys this complete rip off of an excuse for DLC then you deserve to be reincarnated as a haemorrhoid on Satan's arse for buying it. http://marketplace.xbox.com/en-US/Product/...21-ba3fe6ca1dd1
JOSEPH X
This might be worth it for those who have ME2 but not ME1. They can then change their ME2 experience substantially, altho the price is very steep just to unlock content you've already bought. Did a bit of routing around in my friends list a few weeks ago, to see what the take up of Mass Effect was. I was surprised to find I have eleven friends who have played ME1 but have not gone on to play ME2. Bioware should be encouraging these people to come back to the series. Creed Bratton
Seriously, WTF Bioware? Or should I say EA because that's obviously their influence. Remember when Bioware wasn't EA's slave? Things were much better back then weren't they? This DLC crap they're pulling with their latest games is disgusting.

It isn't even worth it for those that have never played ME 1. You would be much better just watching the thing on youtube then either downloading a save game or using the save game editor. At least with the save game editor you can alter a hell of a lot more than you can do with the crappy comic. The comic only lets you make 6 decisions everything else gets conveniently "forgotten". As for a lot of people not moving up from ME 1 to ME 2 again I think that is primarily Bioware's fault. They have now engineered a situation where 4 hours of DLC actually costs more than the full game !!!! So you will find that most people are probably still waiting for the GOTY edition (although I am doubtful there will ever be one). It is a similar situation for me with Dragon Age, I quite liked Dragon Age Origins but no f*cking way am I buying DA 2 and then having to invest nearly another 70 quid for the DLC. I will just wait a couple of years and buy it when the GOTY edition hits a steam sale. I really wish these companies would wake up and realise that the DLC trend is doing more harm than good. CharmingCharlie
There isn't a save game editor on the 360. You can use the PC save game editor to easily edit xbox saves, alternatively there is an online save game editor that does the same thing. You can even convert PC save games into Xbox save games and vice versa. Obviously things are a slightly more fiddly to edit saves on the Xbox 360 (you just need to follow some simple instructions on getting the save games to the PC for editing and back again). You can even use the save game editor to fix f*cked up things that Bioware couldn't be bothered with (like the conrad greeting f*ck up). In short if you have a PC or a 360 you can already do what this crappy comic offers and a hell of a lot more than the comic does. All the tools you need are free, if you want to watch the comic you can do it on youtube for free. I am all for supporting companies but this Comic DLC is a f*cking rip off especially when it is already being offered for free to PS3 users but they are making PC/360 users pay for it. CharmingCharlie
Well it is sort of considered "modding" but it does not require you to have a modded console. I certainly cannot see you encountering any trouble with Microsoft if you edit your ME saves (you don't alter the consoles hardware whatsoever to do this). If you want to see what is involved in editing ME saves on the xbox 360 then check this topic http://social.bioware.com/forum/1/topic/128/index/2277020 All you really need is a usb stick (to transfer the save game files to the PC for editing and back again) and some free tools on the PC. Just follow the instructions and you will be fine. As I said it is a little bit more fiddly to edit Xbox saves but at the end of the day you get to edit ALL the decisions in your save game, unlike the comic which just lets you edit 6 of them.
