So I got a bit of an issue. Basically when trying to run this mod I get an error message reading "Couldn't load 'neo\worldTweakingTable.dat' is there a fix for this? I'm also using modloader to run this mod. (edit: the mod is fully updated to the latest version)

Probably have to move skygfx.asi/ini and the neo folder to the rootfolder (where your exe is located, they don't replace anything anyway so there's no harm in doing so).

You can try VRTP – it includes retexture and some UVM fixes. And maybe prelights, I'm not sure

Why in my game does the mod only work when I do not install the "date" folder that contains the map files? always when I install, my game closes with this error message:

Problem I get with this mod:

1) When adding Reshade/Sweetfx, I get choppy animations (when running sideways its easy to see)

Interesting is that, if I use original GTA3, or my slightly modified version, animation is fine, with and without injectors.

Any ideas what can cause this game's behavior?

 

2) And second issue, after mod install, radar position now is slightly higher, is there a way to fix this?

1 vanilla, + some small mods

2 xboxHD + upd1

3 xboxHD from video on youtube.

Reinstalled WideScreenFix, and this fixed second issue, but first one I resolved by just removing Reshade, because it was just optional.

 

Other problems I faced.

3) Some people said that they have installed this mod via modloader, but there are no instructions for this.

Files that comes in main archive, are scripts, and dll for root folder, and I don't think they will work from modloader folder.

Tried to move data/models/neo/skins/text/txd to modloader, and other stuff into game root folder, and no luck, just error when running the game.

hello i got a problem i install the mod by the instructions and the updated to, but everytime i try to load the game or starting a new game, before it loads complete the game crashes because a handle exception

I decided to try this mod these days and all i can say is that the mod is awasome , also i discovered a weird bug that i want to share with you . When i'm loading a save game and try to go to another island the game doesn't load the map , my menu start to become all white and later the game crash

he don't answer, but a take out the particle from mod, and i leave the original, and then the mod works

I have a problem nose if it is error of my pc or mod, but good the error is that every time I want to do the mission of police car watchman I freeze the game and I get unhandleed exception .... someone knows what is the error please?

What if you replace the model of the mod with the default PC model? I suppose the PC model will use the textures from the mod anyway but the lightmap effect from skygfx will going to get vanished perhaps. Anyway, just give a try and maybe it work.

I replaced the model with the one from the original Xbox version and it now looks fine. The problem is not in the texture but rather in the dff file.

I have similar issue. This happenes to me after I play long enough (and the game loads large portion of the map) so I guess it has something to do with some memory limits or memory leaks. I don't know how the game manages the use of memory but the textures of this mod are many times bigger than the ones from the vanilla game so I guess any upredicted issues can appear. I tried various settings in the limit adjuster but it didn't seem to fix anything.

And which model is the one used for the strip club and the building next to it that's also affected? I have physical copy of the game and I'm having hard time looking through the DFF files from a vanilla installation in IMG Factory to determine which one is the model I'm trying to look for. Thanks in advance.

As far as I remember it's redlightbuild09.dff. Extract it from the converted Xbox map by TheHero

Sorry for the mistake that I did on my last post here. The dff file which includes Woody's bar is redlightbuild09.dff, not redlightbuild12.dff like I said first. You can download it from here https://drive.google.com/open?id=1vu69hazrnZVXu2NP66VNny18JbDAxQwQ

It's from the original Xbox map. Just replace it in your img archive and rebuild it or better - use it with modloader
