Oxygen97 Posted February 19, 2009 Share Posted February 19, 2009 hi welcome to my first topic who is your favourite character out of all the GTA mine would have to be tommy vercetti out of vice city because he always gets things done his way in vice city and everyone treats him like boss of vice city lol then my second favourite would have to be Niko Bellic Gta 3 = Claude speed Vice City = Tommy Vercetti San Andreas = Carl Johnson Liberty City Stories = Toni Cipriani(sirname not sure) Vice City Stories = Vic Vance Gta IV = Niko bellic if i have put this topic in the wrong place sorry because its my first topic Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Ray Boccino would have to be my favorite employer, I don't why I'm just a mafia nut and he has an awesome voice and good missions. junkpile Posted February 20, 2009 Share Posted February 20, 2009 out of the protagonists: niko bellic out of the employers: in my opinion a great job on the character-design was made with salvatore leone (gta3, liberty city stories, gta san andreas) playboy x <- i like him cuz i don't like him at all. rockstar really has done a good job here. he is such a hypocrite, pseudo intellectual and has a nice slang. jimmy pegorino & ray boccino: they're colourful characters, before pegorino says you should do the deal (where he is really an asshole), he is quite likeable and human. similar with ray. the mc rearys francis, gerald and especially packie Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

While I'm a fan of gangstas, I have to agree with this. CJ just happens to be from the ghetto but his English skills, his style and all that are that of an organized criminal or a hitman. Besides he wanted to get out of the hood for you haters, he just didn't want to leave his brother and decided to finish it all before proceeding. I didn't like any of the talking protagonists very much, which is why i prefer the mute one over the others. as far as NPC's though - there are MANY characters I like. Leo Colt Posted February 21, 2009 Share Posted February 21, 2009 Hm... I do like Tommy V, when it comes to protagonists. I like Niko too, but his occasional double standards grate me. As for supporting characters, it's tricky to decide. I think San Andreas comes up trumps in that area, simply because I loved most of them. Catalina, The Truth, Woozie, Toreno etc. Rosenberg and Salvatore are great in all their appearances in the series and I'm sure there are many others who are great too. As for favorite NPC's, then Ryder is my all time favorite along with the whole Grove Street posse. I also liked Salvatore in LCS and Lance in VCS. The mafia theme in an 80's Miami-based setting mixed well. The best NPC IMO should be Lance Vance in VC. He has this sleek attitude and that mean look whenever he's talking to someone.
