I really didn't see the big deal in it. When people saw The Simpsons Movie, I didn't hear anybody in the theater disgusted when they saw Bart's dick. How is this different? Its animated.. and it was done in the exact same fashion. They teased that they weren't going to the show it and waited until the end to do it, just like that cartoon. Where is the Simpsons uproar?

Bart is an abstract 2D line drawing, and they way they did the scene you never actually saw Bart and the penis in the same frame.

 

Stubbs is realistic 3D model animated by a human motion-capture performance. Just a bit more vivid.

Now you're just trying to find excuses to make this different. lol

That being said, it's a penis. Big deal. You all have one, do you scream in disgust every time you see yourself naked? Seriously grow up. It's threads like these that prove that GTA attracts a 10 - 15 yr old demographic. You have no problem performing all sorts of brutal violence but you see a penis and WOAAAAAH it's the end of the world!

I remembered there was a topic a while back where they were discussing that nudity warning on the back of the box (The one with the poster and points) meant that the strippers wouldn't have stars on there nipples. They were all getting real exciting like the perverts they are and it was so funny when you found out the nudity came from a middleaged politician. Also like you I laughed then thought of how hairy it was .

They have statue's of a man's balls, paintings of little kids naked, but the moment a video game shows nudity, oh no you all turn it into the biggest outrage and call for the game to be banned. Its not that big of a deal, people just blow it out of proportion.

I think it was freaking brilliant. Everyone thinking that when they finally do have some full frontal nudity that the obvious choice would be a shot of a woman...No, R* will officially go down in history as the first game publisher to show full frontal nudity, and it will be male instead of female.

 

This is why R* is absolutely hands down my favorite game publisher ever. They get life. They understand that nothing should be taken as seriously as most people want to take everything. They want a good laugh, and I'm right there with them. You people who bad mouth R* just don't understand them. Sure, you play their game because you can wreak ultra-violence on pixelated cops. But the larger part of you seem not to get the deeper picture of what R* is, and it's really a shame.

This game is clearly for a mature audience. Not 10 year olds. It's the parents fault for not monitoring their children and playing the games they play to see if there's any raw content that they don't want their children to see. We have a ratings system for a reason. And if you as a parent don't follow it, then that's too bad for you. If you cared enough about your childs well being and exposure to things that are clearly to much for their understanding, then you surely would have see nudity in the desciption with a big M slapped on the game.

 

As for the penis. I find it hillarious as to how immature some of you are acting. It's like you've never seen one before. You do when you take showers and what not, but when you see one in a mature rated game, it freaks you out?

Finally I saw the famous "penis pic" from TLAD.

 

And I start thinking... hmm we're in 2009. 21st century... and people still go nuts just because they see a not-that-well-designed penis on a VIDEOGAME? OMG...

I haven't played TLAD yet, but I would've pissed myself laughing if I saw it. It's the type of thing I would never expect. I'm comfortable with my own sexuality, so it wouldn't bother me.
