I remember walking into Sears and they would have the PSX demo station on. The station had a few games including Resident Evil 1. The producer, while not confirming or announcing anything, did offer a very diplomatic comment regarding a possible remake of fan favorite Resident Evil 2. "You know, I think there is the demand for it. It's certainly something we would like to consider and think about," said Takeuchi Source. I wonder how they would do it though, cause I dont see Capcom going back to the static cameras. Imagine playing RE2 over-the-shoulder? Would be so bad and so good at the same time.
