twigs2001 Posted February 18, 2009 Share Posted February 18, 2009 Right hello people, anyone care to explain why the **** whenever i run over someone online they get back up straight after like nothing ever happened and shoot me ? Why when i crash into online players vehicles does it have an impact on me, my car gets damaged and i spin out of control, yet they continue to keep cruising whatever way they were headed without a scratch done to them LOL, when i hit them on my screen and it has no effect on them and they just get up and continue it indicates their could be some lag issues, like on my screen i hit them but on their screen they arnt actually stood there? although i can't see how this is the case as my internet is fine on the pc and im on 8mb broadband bla bla but whatever it is is pissing me of because its so unfair when they hit me and i fly halfway down the M62. What you see on your screen could be different to what happens on theirs. i.e. on your screen it might look like you ran them over, but on theirs it might have been a narrow miss. Don't download while gaming and for me, I can't have ESPN.com or other sites with a lot of flash displays, it really lags me for whatever reason. What you see on your screen could be different to what happens on theirs. i.e. on your screen it might look like you ran them over, but on theirs it might have been a narrow miss. Sometimes when I'm racing in Star Junction, it's normal that cars pass near each other in the intersection. Once I remember passing really close to another player, but I didn't hit him. However, when I looked back he was spining out of control and called me noob xD. Not my fault, like I told him, on my screen, I didn't hit him, so it was the lag, and there is no one to blame. He said I was an idiot. The same in DM, a guy was pissed off because the other players were always killing him. I was sick of hearing him complaining, so I said that he was lagging (it was true) and that lag is not good in DM, as he might be shooting a guy on the screen but in fact he's not hitting anyone, instead he's getting shot. I also said that headshots, good map reading, cover, skills, luck and a good weapon do miracles sometimes. He gave me bad rep... lol PS: He was rank 1 and had almost no achievements. Probably he didn't have that much experience, and to be even worse one of the best DM players was there (Dendiego) alongside with me (I'm good ) and others we are also pretty good. J4ADM Posted February 18, 2009 Share Posted February 18, 2009 I get this while racing sometimes... i see someone about 5 car lenghts in front, then all of a sudden, they'll jump in the air then land on my roof, causing me to spin out.... Has anyone here experienced taking the back off a Helicopter on your screen, whilst on the enemy players screen it hasn't come off and he turns around and pwns you.
