Gil80 Posted February 18, 2009 Share Posted February 18, 2009 Hi guys. I'm in this mission with Little Jacob and Roman where I have to jump with a motorbike and climb onto the heli. It says press SPACE repeatedly, however when I do that all that happens is the camera angel switches back and forward. At the end Niko falls into the water. The SPACE button is assigned to the Jump function but it doesn't work. And yes I do use a legit game. Anyone knows? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
zipperhead49 Posted February 19, 2009 Share Posted February 19, 2009 I had the same problem. Try remapping the 'space' key to another key. I used the 'L' key and then used the eraser end of a pencil to tap repeatedly. It worked just fine. Captain_Obvis456 Posted February 19, 2009 Share Posted February 19, 2009 This is a very common glitch. I think what is happening is you're hitting the space too fast and it's causing a lag. I also changed the control to the RMB and it worked for me. Also you can skip most of the fighting at the beginning of the mission by running away from the car towards the water. Then jump up to the dock and up the stairs and veer right to the back of the casino. Then go up the stairs and onto the casino roof. There are holes on the roof that you can shoot everyone before jumping in. Then if you fail the mission you can do it over without the car chase by opening the phone and it will say (whatever the mission is)? Then there's another glitch many had including me is the helicopter doesn't look foreward so you're basically flying blind. There's 2 ways around this. 1 is to hold down caps lock and that will focus on who you're chasing. The second is to hold down the right mouse button and steer the camera that way. Both are hard and you don't have a lot of time. Caps lock is the easier one. Wouldn't that suck to finally get in the helicopter and crash right away. I wish they would fix this mission. I've done as you said. I went in form the roof and I changed the key assignment to RMB or any other key such as L or TAB but it doesn't work.
