I've searched around and not found any, and I cannot for the life of me figure out how the hell you win. The guy is seemingly impossible to beat, I'm hammering my RS from side to side and his arm isn't moving at all, yet he gets my arm down in seconds. The guy just doesn't lose, his are rarely moves towards me winning and when it does he just pulls it back and wins in the space of a few seconds. I'm stuck on what to do for this, I've tried every method I can think of and it simply won't work. zeppelincheetah Posted March 1, 2009 Share Posted March 1, 2009 i just tried it for the first time and i'm having trouble. i've only won once out of like 10 tries. i feel like i'm being too violent towards the controller, like the stick is gonna break off. i've dropped the controller 3 times while doing this. i didn't know that it was right to left - i was just moving it randomly so maybe that's why i was having trouble. I found out that when you start the match it tells to to hit "A" to begin the match and after hitting "A" it then says move the right stick left and right so then I would wait for the guy who is hold the guys hands to count down then I would begin to move the right stick. Well when I did it that way I would lose super quick. So I try to start moving the right stick after I would hit "A" to began the match and once I did that I would beat the guy super quick. Evens out the arm ache anyway... No need to hammer it; you should be thinking about changing direction before you crunch into the side of the socket, not after... And yeah I am also worried about wearing my controller out like that. I remember on the nintendo 64 that i wore out that middle analog stick quick playing mariokart 64, doing the drift and back and forth fast to get the speed boost. So yeah I havent arm wrestled that much, but using your palm is definetly the technique to use. Youre not going to get it done as easy just using your thumb.. When I first tried a few of these techniques none of them worked for me, it seems that just mashing the stick from side-to-side worked best for me. And yeah I am also worried about wearing my controller out like that. If you have already won a match then you don't need to do any more (if you're aiming for 100%). You only have to beat one to get the % added on to your overall. rootman Posted March 15, 2009 Share Posted March 15, 2009 (edited) at first when i played arm wrestling i lost a couple only due to being 1st timer, there isnt much games out there that has arm wrestling as one of the features in games. as i recall, fatal fury had a bonus game where after winning some rounds you then proceed to do sum arm wrestling and you juts rapidly press the button to win. the guy i arm wrestle in the safehouse, he's just frking easy hell the way i make it fun is that as soon as i nearly put the other guys hand on the table to win i let go the RS to make the oponent think he will beat me and then i grab the RS again and do that a few times till i beat him lol. i noticed that when you get johnnys hand pushing the other guys hand down at certain times he will say sum random stuff when he's just about to win the match, stuff like" im gonna win" and other stuff also, but my fav is the " ffffkkkk youuuuuu" in a groan and moan voice lol. the other guy's you arm wrestle do the same thing, to give the match some life. i loved how they made the arm wrestle game within a game, especially the camera angles for when you arm wrestle it changes dynamivally depending on your progress in the match, to show whether you or him will either win or lose . does anyone know whether you can arm wrestle sumone in gta multiplayer online? cos i could own all you pansies the downside of armwrestling is that as soon as you beat the same bloke a few times with the same amount of winnings you won, theres no advancing to the next opponent or not even advancing the prize money when you play again. its still a fun game but boring when you beat the guy over and over and over again. like theres no next opponent with slightly upped difficulty and more prize money won when you keep playing. that sucks. the guy under the bridge you arm wrestle, he's almost hard, ALMOST hehehe. you just have to shake your RS a bit faster and harder. ive only done a few missions and currently saw that theres only 2 places you can arm wrestle at; safehouse and bridge. are there any other arm wrestle places in liberty city guys? ohh and the other way arm wrestling could be better would also be if you can arm wrestle against a female in game imagine, to lock arms against a baddass bikie chick and beat her you are rewarded 300 bucks and "hot coffee" Edited March 19, 2009 by rootman Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
