Anyways L4D doesn't 'soundloop'crash anymore & more FPS in crysis/ warhead I had alot of hick-ups & random crashes in GTAIV but got everything solved with this commandline.txt: -memrestrict 629145600 -fullspecaudio Oh yes & I'm using Quad Core Q9450 & 4 Gig ram (3,75 in windows xp 32bit) +30 FPS, Mostly 40. When things get busy (explosions, rain,..) I get 28-35 FPS. Overall a better experience above the average console version (sharper graphics/ textures, more on screen & better FPS)! This topic doesn't concern about "omg the 8500gt is bad and for noobs lololololol u sux lolol". I own one, overclocked it and I'm happy with it. And many people may be too so shut it. Also, yes these drivers put my IV slower. I had 33/35FPS in the benchie before 182.06 and after I only reach 29/28. It was a f*cking big loss. CB3 Posted March 3, 2009 Share Posted March 3, 2009 I installed 182.06 but I find I have lost a couple of FPS compared to 180.84, 30.45FPS compared to 33.79FPS previously. Also noted that the CPU load increased a lot, 79% compared to 63%. I'm not sure why that would happen, nothing else is running.I tried it just playing in game and it seemed nice and smooth until I got a phone call and suddenly the game slowed down a lot, 2 FPS ish. After the call the game sped back up but it didn't quite seem as smooth as before. I'll try it a little longer but I think 180.84 remains the best driver for me. I am using an 8600GT 256Mb (using system memory to make up for the lack of on card memory, -availablevidmem 1.4) Hope this helps someone PUD, Same here man I'm usin system memory (-availablevidmem 1.4), and I got the same card as well What's your specs and what FPS do you get?
