sammclean23
hi. recently i tried to display GTA 4 on my tv. I have succesfully done this with Far Cry 2, Tomb raider Underworld and need for speed undercover. I did this by displaying SLi renderd content on theTV. This works fine however when i run GTA4 the TV says "video mode not supported". This is commonly a resolution problem but disabling Sli and setting the displays in clone, gta4 is displayed on TV no problem. What could be the problem when i have GTA set at the same res as the other games? Thanks for any help Sam
cold fusion 33
GTA IV does not support Sli (Or CrossFire) unless you have downloaded and applied the second patch for IV. You can get it from their website. This might be what is causing your problems . CF33

leik oh em jeez!
Run IV on your monitor, turn the resolution down to 640x480, apply and exit. Now switch it over to the TV and tell me what happens. BTW, is your TV connected by DVI or S-Video?

Do you know what could be stopping it running at 1024 x 768 when Sli is enabled because it runs fine on the TV at this res when set to "clone" Sam Edited February 19, 2009 by sammclean23

The problem is that SD TVs are very low res and don't support such high resolutions.
