That's like a basic of a game that has money in it. You have a way to earn it, but more than anything you NEED to have a way to spend it. So you WANT to earn it and plan on buying something. In GTA IV, no way to spend it. They should at least put some houses for sale and not just give them to you, AT LEAST that. But nope Money here is useless. Sure occasionally you'll buy weapons and that's it. How could they miss that...beyond me. Oh yeah, and hospital bills lol, that's where most of money goes - I guess they were picking on US health care system.

Elementary problem, my dear. Me and my friends first Identified it back when we stopped playing this game on the console. (About a month or two after getting it.) I naively bought it again hoping that mods would fix this issue. That still remains to be seen

And even more annoying is that how they NEED money when they are damn rich anyways. Like how they are in debt and whatever. Or when it seems that Niko only does stuff to get some money.

That's the worse part of it all. "OMG, I need a job... I need money! " he bitches about it all of the time and yet there is around 550k$ on the account, just sitting there, doing nothing.

 

Ah, I remember the good old times of VC where you had to work hard to get more dosh and buy those assets. /nostalgic

Half the fun and time in previous GTAs was spending the money you earned. They did f*ck up by having nothing to spend money on, but thats the way it is so whaddya gonna do.

Never played VC, but San Andreas, now those were missions. When you thought that's it about missions, there is the new one that you wouldn't expect. The originality and craziness was incredible. I hope they now have a good technical base, I didn't mind buying the game, they really did do a lot, but now I want something like San Andreas. Oh, and, what I miss is that empty space SA had, it gave the game freedom, "New York" is kinda cramped lol

Hell, if you think that's bad. Take it back to every game before vice city. Money was nothing more than the way game kept "score". You got money for just crashing cars lol.

Now I had to get a trainer just to get MORE money. If you like spawning cars (buying them), modifying the paint scheme, adding/removing spoilers and other little mods, this is your mod. Not only that, but when you buy a car, and park it somewhere...it won't just disappear, even if you park it in the middle of the road! You can set up your own parking lot if you like. Give it a try, it needs Xliveless though.
