Cyraxx Posted February 18, 2009 Share Posted February 18, 2009 I just did that mission "Shifting Weight" where you try to sell the drugs to the jogger looking civilians. Onto the problem, in the cut scene the stupid b*tch blows up my custom Hexer. I bring a different bike to the mission in hopes that my custom one doesn't get blown up but no luck. I think 'well this is supposed to happen, so I'll just finish the mission.' That's when I get the text message from Clay saying something like "Hey Johny I heard your Hexer got messed up, call me and I'll fix it up for you and bring it to you." I call him up, just as a regular call, but it goes to his answering machine. I call him up for bikes and select Hexer, but he sends me a different one. I really want my bike back!! I got a message saying it could not download because of my location (Queensland). And how long did it take to download with our internet? Im only asking you cuz i saw the aussie flag, and im hoping its not just me who got that message. P.S Iknow i have a post on this but i got no replies. fraggyy Posted February 18, 2009 Share Posted February 18, 2009 OMG NOOOO! OK, what you do is. Put your bike on the parking in front of the clubhouse. Go and safe. Go back outside (left exit!) and a new bike (same) will spawn near the white-ish half wall. Take that one to ride, and the other one on the parking is your spare. I never got killed or lost my bike, and i did this from the beginning so i have 2. You can also call Clay for a bike, but presumably it won't be your 'custom' bike. Cyraxx Posted February 18, 2009 Author Share Posted February 18, 2009 (edited) I actually got it in the game before marketplace even released it, when the update was released I looked in the options and got it then. It took me like 3 and a half hours at least though. Other then that I didn't really have any problems, all I can say is just keep trying mate. It's totally worth getting IMO because for some reason its uncut for us when we get it. If there's anything else I can help you with feel free to ask. Good luck mate. EDIT: this was directed at MtbAus ^^^ Thanks Fraggyy I'll give it a try next time I play through. This thread can be locked if the need be I already solved the problem, when I did the next Jim mission I got my custom bike back for some reason.
