TheJonesy
This took place on the day or near the day of Niko's arrival, yet he's wondering the streets of Alderney which should be unaccessible to him: nice little nod, but Rockstar is slipping. lol. The guy who was sleeping with Faustin's daughter is still alive at the beginning of TLaD. HUGE PLOTHOLE! More proof: No Integrity 2.0...at least not in the beginning of the new content. Integrity 2.0 opens up later on in Niko's campaign.

Are you sure it was in Aldereny? And regardless R* did slip because all of the bridges are supposed to be closed due to "terrorist activity", meaning the islands are cut off from each other. Yet the whole map is available to Johnny from the start.. hm..

SaintJimmy
It's not a terrorist attack nor is it terrorist activity. It's just a paranoid government. Citizens can get across, but Niko, Roman advises him not to, because he doesn't have a Visa.

Hydro_PT
And regardless R* did slip because all of the bridges are supposed to be closed due to "terrorist activity", meaning the islands are cut off from each other. Yet the whole map is available to Johnny from the start.. hm.. Actually people could travel between islands to go to work. I remember reading the news about that on a site the first time Niko uses the internet café. I don't remember the exact phrase, but I'm sure it was something about people flowing the metro system to go to work in other islands. So, although you get a 6-star wanted level if you cross the bridges while they're closed, you could actually go there... it just doesn't happen because it is a matter of not giving everything to the player from the very beginning. It's not a slip by Rockstar, it's just the way game was designed... since most people already played GTA IV, of course that now in this DLC everything is open... after all, what the players want is to visit everything, and not to stick to such minor details that don't change nothing in the plot... And yes, it is in Alderney.

numdmind
Romans cab depot and his appartement aren't burned down yet. But it's still kinda funny. Yup...They even mention on the radio later in TLaD about the depot burning down and how "two men with molotovs were seen" or something to that effect. Plus, the whole dead biker thwas sleeping with Faustin's daughter, which I've already mentioned. Sheesh. So, yeah, whoever said it wasn't a slip up by R* - sorry, but you are wrong. It's a complete slip up on their part.
fraggyy
I like it when you do the Libertonian mission, Johnny passes all the bodies (you hear Niko shooting) and Niko is then gone and Johnny's like "Damn, he's one bad muthaf*cka" (something like that)
junafani
Spoilers about ending credits (If you have played to museum mission in both stories, you can look) Credits are also cool. You see Niko killing Vlad while The Lost is cruising at the road. You see Roman's depot burning and Niko drives there with Roman, stops for a second and then drives away. And you see Museum piece where Johnny is going out from other exit and Niko is going out from other exit and then he WALKS to car while some guy is shooting him. Luis is at the roof with sniper also. A lot of people have said the closed bridges thing is such an obvious video game mechanic it shouldn't be considered canonical, no more than the yellow markers hovering in midair. Rockstar just chooses to make it look a little more realistic than the red forcefield blocking off the highway in the Saints Row demo. In fact when an interviewer comments on the terror-alert bridge closings being a clever part of IV's story, Houser's response was "That’s a gameplay device," as though it's off-base to even think about it.
