called 'Dont mess with the Pied Piper

this mission will be in 4 parts

Part 1 (introduction and meeting)

you start with a guy who is wired trying get niko to open up about his past and offering gifts to pretend he is his friend then he is introduced by Roman as a good auto dealer and catholic man who still likes to live his old high school days and wants niko get to buy some of his cars off for the taxi company as roman lost his some money from gambling then the guy bes nice and gives it away for free (but its wired). niko calls roman and says that guy was creepy during the 1st part.

Part 2 (Plot)

niko goes to buy a car for Roman, Niko says that guy was awkward then Roman tells niko that guys doesnt even work for the auto dealer and isnt on the roster, niko checks the SUV and finds the wires, niko goes to the "auto dealer" while his hat is off kills him and dumps him near Aldernay Docks

Part 3 (Aftermath and Escape)

Feds find the car and try to get evidence about niko and managed to do so and do a raid on his apartment beforehand he gets a call from U.L. Paper that he knows what he did but wants to help him as long as he goes to carcer city apartment (will be in the heavens) and kills some russian terrorists near the top

Part 4 (Conclusion)

Niko arrives at liberty by helicopter and petrovic meets up to him and says you killed lenny and now my weapon suppliers i hope you enjoy your last visit here (now he has to kill the assassins) and escape to his safehouse

this is a suggestion but it will be in the works

My mission - I designed this for my GTA idea - GTA 2020. If you haven't read my thread here, or my many ramblings about it, it's set in a dystopic city in 2020. It's not based on any particular city, but an extremely generic World-Mega-City with aspects from all over the world. This mission is designed to betowards the later stages of the game. Anyway...

Midnight Climax.

The (corrupt) government intelligence service has set up several brothels to investigate the effects of a new synthetic drug on unconsenting victims lured there by prostitutes working for them, and monitored from two-way mirrors and secret survailance cameras. Sexual blackmail, kidnappings and horrid human experimentation - some even revolving around genetics - is rife in those brothels.

Working for a mass-corporation/secret society opposed to the government and their allies, you are tasked with exposing their secret research. You are told by your employer that a contact is waiting for you at a hospital bed with the intel on where one of those brothels are. Due to the importance of this mission, you are given two ex-military goons to help you out. One of them drives you and the other to the hospital, taking many back-routes and alleyways there, while explaining to you the dangers of government survailance. Just then, the other passenger's head explodes, and in the ensueing panic, the driver crashes the car into a Tuk-Tuk, running it onto it's side. You both jump out of the car, and dive into an alley-way and hide amongst the piles of trash there. The Tuk-Tuk driver follows you and annoys you about paying him compensation to fix his Tuk-Tuk, especially since you seem rich with your latest model Admiral (Mercedes Benz). Fearing he's giving your position away, and threatening to call the cops on his cell-phone, the other guy lays him out with his SMG. The Sniper sees you, and fires, revealing his position on a nearby rooftop from the muzzle-flash. The goon helping you hides amongst the building traffic-jam and fires to supress him and get his attention, telling you to climb onto the rooftop and eliminate the sniper. You climb up fire-escape stairways, air-ventilation ducts and walls to get onto the roof behind the ski-mask wearing sniper whose busy engaging your friend, and kill him. If you inspect and search his body afterwards, you will find the very rare fully-automatic, silenced pistol with laserpoint.

As you go down, you tell your friend that the sniper was probably working for the intelligence agency, and that they are now probably on your back. Just then, you get a three-star wanted level, and cop cars and unmarked black cars start giving persuit. The goon friend drives the car, while you shoot from the sun-roof with an SMG to slow the persuers down so you can escape them, and safely get out of the red/blue circle to get away - similar to GTA 4. You swap cars, and your driven to the hospital, along the way you keep a look-out for anything suspicious. If you see anything, you are told to press a button to warn the driver, then you are given the choice to tell him to flee, at the risk of attracting the police, or ditch the car. You see nothing suspicious, and continue to the hospital.

In order to pass security, you have to leave your weapons in the car's trunk. You go to reception and ask for that particular patient's location, and the receptionist is reluctant and responds that "he's very ill", but later is persuaded to let you see him thanks to a cheesy dramatic performance from you about him being your brother. As you walk into the room, you see a man in a black suite, and a doctor around the patient's bed, which is concealed by the curtains. After at first welcoming you and expressing their sadness at Mr. Omar's deteriorating condition when the nurse first shows you the room, they pull guns on you as soon as the nurse leaves and closes the door behind her. It's a trap.

Like classical bad-guys, they explain they are the government agents, you "traitors" have no chance, and any attempts against them will only make them stronger. They explain they gotten to the contact before you, and whip open the curtains to reveal an armless, leggless torso with a horribly disfigured face, one eye and half of his head/brain missing. His neck is ripped up, with plastic tubing transporting blood to his brain and plastic covering, with his mouth duct-taped, and the horribly disfigured mess is shivering.

To be continued...

I like the idea of a prison break. And there could be some missions that prepare you for it. One thing that has been discussed before is how many people liked Breaking The Bank At Caligula's better than Three Leaf Clover because of the build up to it, while as good a mission Three Leaf Clover was, it felt one-off due to the lack of preparation.

As gtawizard92 mentioned, it could start off by obtaining a guard's uniform/passcode (the "mandatory spook-a-meter" mission) followed by other preparations, and it would lead up to the actual prison break mission.

That is the only issue I have with Three Leaf Clover, no buildup. Beyond that, it is boss.

1- Bank Robbery mission-

Yeah, like Three Leaf Clover. Inside of the mission itself, TLC was brilliant. Character death, mass shootout on the move(always the best kinds), retreat to the subway, more shooting, getting out at an unexpected quarter. That is where it gets interesting on your play throughs: I've had games where I've lost the cops in about a minute, other times they stop me, cars crash, more shooting, etc. and forty minutes later I'm dead on a freeway. It could be the definition of epic.

For the new mission, some build-up. The character, who you have known for a little while, is planning to rob the bank. You do what is needed and the robbery is the third mission in his mission tree. Then the fourth has to do with making the heat finally go away.

2- Heist Mission...plus cleanup-

You have everything you did for the Casino heist PLUS what happens afterwards: The heat close in and you end up offing those who were involved in order to cut ties with the heist.

You never see what happens in the aftermath of a great heist. In the GTA-verse, the heist is the end! The cops don't get too close to the thieves and they roll in the dough. In the real world however, justice eventually catches up with them all. The only way to stop it is to silence those involved and if they are under the same organization eventually a small rebellion in the ranks will unfold. It spirals from there.

I also like smart missions where people seem to know something of tactics and strategy.

Attacking a police station? Stupid.

Blocking the route of a police convoy in a tunnel? Smart!

BigAmericanTitties

1. a mission like "Phnom Penh '86" in VC, where youre in a helicopter shooting people on buildings, then land and take out people inside the building. maybe add a part where you go back to the top of the building, jump to the landing rail things (i dont know what its called) and shoot down guys with your one free hand.

2. a mission where you have to jump from 1 car to another, take out the driver, and drive to safety with someone on your tail (whether it's cops or gangsters)

3. shooting some target with an RPG from a heli, like what jacob did in paper trail. but it has some challenging part (im out of creativity)

I like missions with enemies that are very hard to beat.Like in VCS:The Mission Light my Pyre.Armando Mendez is hell of a strong guy.Let me make the scene:

You and one of your comrades get in a warehouse(full of meat hooks). The doors slam shut.Laughing is heard outside from mafias. When suddenly one meathook flies towards you.You shout in pain after it hitting your foot(due to a protagonists luck,it hit him there). You open fire with your comrades. One of you hit the fuse, causing the power to go out.It becomes very dark, but there is still some light. The mission happens at dawn.At some moments flashlights from the hidden enemy can be seen, allowing you to see him.Your job is to kill him while dodging the meat hooks.5 hits can kill you. This is going to be hard because you're enemy can withstand one indirect hit from an RPG(like Smoke). The technique is to bring a molotov cocktail \flamethrower,or...find the hidden flashlights.Fire at one area to briefly light it.You're enemy might walk into the fire(stupid AI)

or get seen. There you can blast him until he stops whining.

Why it's such a hard mission.

Meathooks

Dark area.

Scary atmosphere

Very strong boss.

small space

What makes it easy.

A gun.

Molotovs or flamethrowers.

RPG

Teammates

flashlights

Also...

Whether it's cops

Cops as teammates are great.

I have always fancied a bit of a homage to the survival horror genre.

Your GTA hero has to break into a laboratory to steal some secrets and, whilst he/she is there, an alarm goes off and all hell breaks loose as "something" escapes. The something could turn out just to be a cloned primate perhaps, rather than the Tyrant monster, but you could keep players guessing as the mission progressed. There would the opportunity of using some stealth in this mission, and an eventual shoot-out with the guards. ph34r.gif

My favourite GTA mission has to be: Three Leafed Clover. cool.gif

Lovin that idea! In SA there was a building for the "Zombotech Corporation". How awesome would a level in a huge skyscraper like Die Hard be aswell? Fighting your way to the roof to escap by helicopter, through floors teeming with cover and enemies, offices, up lift shafts dodging the elevators. IV badly needed such a mission.

I wanna see a melee fight with a few enemies in a big hot kitchen: everything is an enviromental kill opprtunity: Stuff enemies into ovens, fryers, blenders, drown them in sinks devil.gif

Also a mission where you have a slow, weak vehicle and have to escape a Big-Rig with a psycho at the wheel, ALA Spielberg's first film Duel. You have to lure the truck to it's demise somehow.

A level inside a passenger train, fighting your way from car to car, and also on the roof. A mission where you are driving a taxi and some gunman kidnaps you and makes you drive him around like Collateral, you have to outwit him at an opportune moment. Also a gunfight through a huge museum, much bigger than the one in IV, more like the expo center from Syphon Filter, with big "mock ups" of famous landmarks, maybe even harking back to previous GTAs.

Definately a Gone In 60 Seconds Style Mission. You could have a week to steal 100 unique cars and deliver them. Later cars attract a lot of Cop heat. In Last Action Hero there is a scene where Arnie spots his target across a crowded nightime NYC street: he promptly leaps up and jumps from car to moving car, an awesome scene that could be part of a mission.

I think my idea is great. (LAST MISSION)

You have to get in a mansion, but you choose by stealth or storming, but that won't make any difference.

After that, a guard (That was a rival before in the game) gets killed and his gun shoots a barrel.

A fire starts, and you have to chase the boss and kill the enemies.

After lots of chasing and killing, you go to the rooftop.

The boss escapes in a heli, and you have 6 minutes to get to the docks and steal a boat.

After that, you go the first city of the game and gets 4 stars.

Get to the park, and have a killer gunfight with the boss and the SWAT.

The boss, before dying, shoots you in the arm.

You writhe in pain, and the boss dies.

You try to get up, but a person comes and shoots you.

You die, and the game ends with the camera going up to the sky and focusing to the park.

You then wake up in a coma, and you get out of the hospital.

Now you are free to do stuff, with no missions to do turn.gif

I'd like to see more missions where you're not driving. I like the missions in SA when you're simply a passenger that has to keep people from following you by shooting and blowing up their car or even fighting off a cop that landed on your vehicle. Also getting stuck on a moving train and throwing the boxes of ammo to your friends was interesting.

I also feel as if the missions need more build up time. SA may have dragged it out too long, they could have cut down the build up by 1 or 2 missions but atleast it was interesting to see the whole process. I'd rather play a few missions too many rather than just watch a cut scene and already be done robbing a bank and just escaping though.

Cool topic!

Sooo...:

Prison break mission-

It could involve flying a helicopter into the prison or crashing a huge truck into the wall of the prison. OR you could somehow arrange a meeting with the warden of the prison and hold him hostage while the prisoner escapes. He would get the best of you while you are distracted or something and you would have to fight your way out. You would then misteriously lose the cops and meet up with the person you broke out where you would find out that they were following you all along and you would have another chase ending in a standoff in a building somewhere smile.gif THAT would be cool.

Hijacking a private jet-

You have to sneak aboard a large private jet (not a small business jet...something larger but not a commercial flight) and overpower those inside. You would then have to do some evasive, low altitude flying and ultimatly crash land (preferably a cool crash landing cinimatic) after getting hit.

De-hijacking a private jet-

You could be on a small flight that gets hijacked. You would have to overpower the hijackers and saftly land the plane OR crash land (see above)

Train fight-

You would have to work your way through a moving train fighting off people along the way. Once the train stops you will have to hold off.

Can you see a pattern in my thoughts yet? tounge.gif

Ship fight-

You have to secretly board a ship and either kill someone the boat by stealth or fight your way through (fighting through will end in you chasing the target on smaller boats while steealth will mean after you kill the target you are chased by boats and have to excape)

Car chase (with you as the passenger)-

It's been done before but it could be done awesomely with the current generation of GTAs.

!!!HOME INVASION MISSIONS!!!

Yes like in San Andreas...funfun

Helicopter crashes into a building-

You were trying to land on the roof and ambush the building but were shot by someone on the roof and crash into the building a few floors below where you must fight your way to the roof where your target is trying to excape with an inbound helicopter. You get to the roof just as the helicopter arrives and have to jump off the roof to the helicopter and climb up where you then watch a cinimatic of the in-helicopter fight. From here you either have to land the helicopter somewhere or jump out with a parachute.

>>>a time travel mission<<<<

for example, Niko is hired to kill a man in a hotel (room 666) by Dimitri Rascalov. UNKNOWINGLY, Dimitri sends Niko back in time... three weeks earlier. Niko arrives at the hotel room, breaks open the door, and sees a man looking out the window.

"Dimitri Rascalov doesn't want you alive anymore," says Niko. Then, the strange man turns around and shows Niko his face. Niko drops his gun... it's past NIIIKOOO!!!!

Niko then realizes Dimitri betrayed him once more by trying to get him to kill himself!! Almost creating a time paradox and causing the destruction of the UNIVERSE!!11!

So, both Nikos team up together and track Dimitri down to kill him.

Another idea that you're enemy is almost unkillable.

Someone who betrayed you before got cornered(by you). The enemy sees a tank, because there's a riot.He jacks the man in there and decides to blow you up.There are a lot of area for cover, but they only stop the machine guns. The cannon is a different story.
