Ilovevicecity324
Ok, so I have been working for 100% in vice city now, but here's the problem, right now I'm at 80% and I'm working for Unique Jumps right now. All I have left to do is get all of the unique jumps, collect all of the hidden packages, and do all of the "R3" missions like vigilante, firefighter, ambulance, etc. So here's my concern, I notice on some of the unique jumps, it says that like I have to do them during the mission "G-Spotlight" for the Film Studio- and it says that like that's the only time that you can get access to these jumps. So, the thing is, I'm not really 100% sure if I got credit for all of the unique jumps during that mission, I may have missed some during this mission. So, my question is: is there any way you can get access to that skyscraper again? Or would I have to start a whole new game again and redo that mission and get all of those jumps during that mission? Flesh-n-Bone
I'm pretty sure you'll get credited for the unique stunt jumps during G-Spotlights no matter how you do them (unless you use a helicopter). Otherwise as long as you have made it to the other roof the game has registered the stunt.
Daniel_B
You will get credit for the jumps during the missions, but I know that you can also go back and re-do the G-Spotlight jumps afterward--not sure if you can do them beforehand, tho (never checked to see if the elevator will take you up to that lobby before doing the mission). For the first time ever, I recently went for 100% completion on VC, and got stuck at 99 'cause I'm missing one damn Unique Jump! I know it has to be one of the ones done on a mission (G-Spotlight, PCJ Playground, or the one where you have to retrieve Mitch Baker's bike), but don't know which one. Despite attempting all 5 multiple times, that last one just won't 'click in'... Next time I'll have to pay better attention during those missions, or else do the UJ's first... GTA_goD_01
You can retry the jumps. The elevator will work outside of that mission. Also, as you progressed in the mission, certain staircases were lowered to allow you access to the rooftops nearing the end of the series of jumps so that you wouldn't have to start over. They will still be there and those rooftops will still be accessible that way. Good luck. Edited February 18, 2009 by GTA_goD_01

Otherwise as long as you have made it to the other roof the game has registered the stunt. Not necessarily. You have to jump through a sort of invisible blip to successfully register a Unique jump. The topic starter wants to look here to see exactly where to jump through (pictures 2-4 are all jumps completed on the mission G-spotlight). Demarest has kindly made the invisible blips visible, and this will be very useful to a lot of gamers. Though, looking at the pictures, it would seem more difficult to not register unique jump than to successfully complete them. If the topic starter and Daniel_B are still struggling to register the jumps, no matter how many times you have tried, and you're both playing on the PC, you might want to take a look here; Downloads Database. It contains a couple of Code Tools which are designed to help you pass and register Unique Jumps. Uniquecall will tell you what Unique jumps you are missing, and go into detail telling you how exactly each jumps work, and how exactly to register them. The Wanderlust code tool simply passes all Unique jumps for you.
Daniel_B
Oh, man, thanks flicko!! I knew there were tools like that for SA, but I thought I was SOL for VC... Turns out I was missing USJ #24 ( http://www.gtavice.com/stunts/ ). Not sure how that happened, since I went right down the list as I was doing them, checking each one off as it was completed, but whatever--it's done now. 100%
Spuds725
Kind of late to the discussion but will add my 2 cents... I'm relatively certain that the PCJ Playground jumps are not done while doing the "checkpoint"-- yes you hit some of them, but the UJ slowmo is disabled and the jumps should not register-- I may be wrong on this. You cannot enter the elevator where you start G-spotlight until that mission-- so the first jump cannot be done until you open up G-spotlight. The other 2 can be done if you desire-- you need to jump up on the hospital in downtown- the 2nd unique jump in G-spotlight is off the hospital-- the 3rd one is later on.. so you would need to know how to do the rest of the jumps.... Jumping on top of the hospital is a bit tricky but not real bad-- I've done it many times...-- http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=guV71HoZoxQ It is possible to do all the jumps other then the first G-spotlight jump before doing anything in the game-- the other 2 that are locked are the ones on the pier near Cortez' yaught at the marina, you access this by going to the film studio, grab a packer, drive it to the far side of the studio, so another spawns-- park one near the wall for a ramp, use the other to jump out of the film studio. Park this back at the marina so you can jump around the gate (over the water)-- this is tricky to not end up in the water but it is possiible to do if you really want to. And congrats on achieving 100% for the first time! I've tried time and time again to get the Packer out of the Film Studio in order to use it to find new methods to access restricted areas to no avail. I assume you take it to the Stairs in the far corner and then use the stairs as an extra guide? I tried desperately to get the Packer outside of the film studio, by driving one up the stairs leading outside. The Packer is too slow to do it manually, so I used another packer, placed it at the foot of the stairs and used the ramp to get up and over the wall easier. I failed, but got extremely close. So this method may be possible Or am I going horribly wrong somewhere?
Spuds725
I never tried, but this person is quite knowledgeable-- this was his secret identity-- I believe it is possible. http://www.gtaforums.com/index.php?showtop...dpost&p=2713994 Spuds' GTA V 100% Checklist // My IV & Vice City Videos "I want to design a video game where you take care of all the people shot in all the other video games.... I've just given it a go and mastered it at the very first attempt! Might have to experiment to see if I am able to exploit this and find new ways to get to restricted areas. Cheers for the link.
