I think that the vid is from Xbox (I think). Tonksi plays on Xbox. I have a better question: Once you download the expansion, can you go BACK to the normal version or are there now two seperate versions of Multiplayer? And exploding rounds from the minis is just...well...dumb as hell! Makes it impossible to get away from even the newest n00bs who has gotten a Heli! EDIT: @post below...So this is for PC only...Phew! I must agree. Listening to 13 yr old british kid bow down to you due to video game domination is the ultimate satisfaction. If R* are going for realism then they are succeeding! Helicopters IRL(Heard of it?) Have something called incendary (Spelling pls?) If Rockstar only could test their updates before actually releasing them. yer a multiplayer beta weekend might have been a good idea, prior to LAD some of my pilot friends were talking and we heard rumours about explosives on a heli for chopper vs chopper... we were hoping they brought in the hunter or something with missiles, specific for chopper vs chopper. or if they altered anything... put in a heli with guns and a missile launcher that has a huge delay, so say every 20-30 seconds you can unleash a missile to quickly take out a vehicle. even having auto aim rpgs along with a choice for an annihilator with auto aiming turrets.. (mini guns which will follow your target as long as the heli is facing somewhat in the right direction... ) - this would be like having an auto aim setting for weak ground shooters... but for people going in the heli... As soon as you get some cover, there is not much a heli can do without the DLC-upgrade. With damage like I saw in the vid, the DLC ones shouldn't be allowed in competitive modes though... DAYUM!! There's a whole Pilots VS Footsoldiers thread somewhere, like a competition organised by people here. If memory serves me correctly, the Pilots wiped the floor with the guys on the ground. Try it in Algonquin and things might change... I think what Bean really wanted to say is that you don't piss you pants when you suddenly see an Apache-like-helicopter above you, like you would be in real life. This obviously changes with the DLC... Still, now they should have an option weather or not you want to allow the helicopters in multiplayer... it could be fun in FM and a laid back way of griefing, but having TDM's where most people are driving to the airport in the first 3 minutes to grab a heli could be annoying. Naw, Algonquin is probably the toughest area for a pilot (except Middle Park). As you can hit the sourrounding builidngs when you try to get away from the bullets and ground forces have a lot of stuff for cover... Stev could be a true ground force though... if he is as good as taking out pilots as he is with drivers. I mean seriously... there is no f*cking way to run him over unless you get him from behind while he is busy 2-shot-killing somebody else or blips are off and your car doesn't make too much noise. When he knows where you coming from, your dead on sight... unfortunately not only in a vehicle. # When is the next "Pilots VS Footsoldiers"? Anyway, I just found that thread in the "Events" section of the forum. Gonna keep an eye on it, so I'll hopefully be in the next one. Already killed SCARFACE99 who is in the playerlist of the tread, in a chopper from the passenger seat of a car this week. Maybe I can convince Stev to give it a try aswell.
