I think you will find that, and I believe I can safely say this, everyone here loves GTA IV Multiplayer. I guess since this is a GTA IV Multiplayer forum, this isn't a surprise...although it might be to you since you started a thread like this. You might want to try being a little more specific in your question. Am pretty sure you are just gonna get the smart-ass responses to this. Good luck. Disconnections, PSN sign-outs when going from game to game, too many network problems IMO. The MP games are quite fun though, if you can stay in one. Best multiplayer game I´ve ever played edit: by the way twings, free mode means you´re free to do whatever you want. twigs2001 Posted February 19, 2009 Share Posted February 19, 2009 (edited) Nah it's only fun if you have 16 people on your friends list to mess around with otherwise its just sh*t, Freemode is unplayable due to assholes turning it into deathmatch, bomb da base you will get idiots just fighting with the police and not actually trying to complete the mission or someone will crash the helicopter, in races anyone who isn't in a decent position just quits race, cops and robbers sucks your lucky if you get more then 4 people on this and even if you do you get people team swapping just before the game starts to make it uneven, much more and ofcourse this is on PS3 i don't know what its like on 360 so yeah its crap if you don't have friends to play with.. Can i ask how does one go about hosting a Freemode without starting a partymode (no friends that play gta 4 anymore) whenever i go on freemode it just takes me to an empty lobby and starts straight away, then i end up in someone elses game, this angers me as i like the friendly fire option OFF so no one can spawn kill and ruin the game. Alone the fact that the euphoria engine makes every death, accident and so on, unique, makes you wanna play it over and over. On the 360 it has preferences to choose what type of free mode you would like, such as police and friendly fire. No preferences panel on us PS3 users I believe that was only added for the latest update on the 360 coinciding with the release of TLAD. Most likely that feature will be added on the next PS3 patch. I could really care less about those settings-- just fix the BDB II disconnect bug-- half the griefing for that is likely because most people believe they can't finish the mission, so why not mess with others.... I never experience griefing to the degree you will encounter in BDB II-- most other public matches in my experience griefing is rare (other then GTA race-- which is to be expected). No preferences panel on us PS3 users We PS3 users do have that option of turning anything in free mode on or off ........Or in any match as long as u are the host of the game ...
