Yh but because it's dlc R* have restricted it so u can only play it off the gamertag that downloaded it, think about it, if it wasn't restricted you could copy it to any harddrive for free Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Niko B3llic Posted February 17, 2009 Share Posted February 17, 2009 your gamertag is your identity on xbox live, you have to sign in with a registerd xbox live gamertag and download things to your hard drive, I'm not 100% sure if you can just switch consoles and have the hard drive work with all the suff on downloaded on it, I think the console itself has to be on live. what you can do is instead of just taking your hard drive, just to be sure take your whole console over and connect to live on your console where high speed is available. then download all the things you want and take it back home. Also if you get the Lost and Damned thats in a box in a retail store, then it comes with a 48 hour trial membership of live. So just try to get the lost and damned in a retail store and find a place where you can connect to live with your entire console...hard drive and all and just activate the 48 hour trial and enter your L&D download code and there you go.
