NikoB Posted February 17, 2009 Share Posted February 17, 2009 *Friendship Guide* For all questions on relationships * SPOILER WARNING * INTRODUCTION As you all know Niko makes friends during his stay in Liberty City. He can make 5 in total. These being Roman Bellic, Little Jacob, Brucie Kibbutz, Dwayne Forge and Packie MCreary. He can also have have 5 girlfriends. These being Michelle and Kate MCreary who are your girlfriends in the story and the other 3, Carmen Ortiz("SoBoHoe"), Kiki Jenkins ("LawChick") and Alex Chilton ("Liberated Woman"). You can meet these people online on various websites such as love-meet and craplist. ARRANGING A DATE To arrange a 'date' with a friend or girlfriend you must first open up your phonebook. You can do this by press the up button and selecting phonebook. You scroll until you find that friends name and select it. If it is a friend it will come up with a list of activities you can take him on. If it is a girlfriend you must select date. Sometimes if you have not unlocked your girlfriends special ability the menu will be skipped and the call will be made to date her. You can also arrange dates over the internet. Just select the girl and press date. Friends sometimes call and most of the time when your busy. If this is the case then say yes and as soon as the call is ended select cancel plans. This will not affect your respect or like stat. You have 1 game hour to reach your friends destination. USING THE INTERNET TO DATE It is quite easy to date over the internet. The two website in which you can date with are Craplist and Love-Meet. To access the internet you must go to and internet cafe or a safehouse with a computer. Log in and go to one of these websites. You can find Alex by going to craplist click on women seeking men and you will find her under the ad about Party girl seeks man for NSA fun. To fine Carmen and kiki look for their usernames on love-meet. Carmens being SoBoHoe and Kikis being LawChick. DATE SUCCESS OR FAILURE If you take your 'friend' to a place he/she likes they will let you know after you drop them off. With a girlfriend you can 'extend your evening' or just say goodnight. If the date goes well a thumbs-up icon appears above your radar map and your like stat is raised. Your like stat for a person is also raised when you call to arrange the date unless they are asleep in which the like stat goes down. Your like stat also goes down if you fail to turn up or turn up late. OTHER CONSIDERATIONS You may also want to consider your 'Friends' preferences. For example Romans favourite place is burger shot. You must also consider your 'friend' will not like going the same place all the time. Another thing is Niko's car, his clothes and even his driving. In general you should dress nicely, drive safely and avoid doing things like killing innocent bystanders and punching out your date or other people neerby. If your friend is hurt then you will get a call to pick them up from the hospital. If your girlfriend is killed you can start dating them again by going back on the website and select date again. Burger shot is his favourite. Nightspot Preference: Anywhere. Special Ability: Roman's Taxi Call Roman and he'll send you a cab you can the go wherever you like at no charge. *Participating in activities with Roman does not count toward 100% completion of the game. Without these I'm afraid your topic may not be pinned and will eventually be lost beyond the front page, no matter how nice your thread is (I do like it, really).
