Royal55
I downloaded TL&D this morning and once it was done I obviously had to play it, so I did. I shut my Xbox off and a little while later I came back to it and when I went to start it up it went right to GTAIV. I didn't get a message that said if I'd like to start up TL&D or anything. I tried to re-download it a few times but still no beans, It'd be cool if someone could just tell me what has gone wrong, thanks in advance. [email protected]
Goto the load game screen and load your TLAD save.
Enjoii
Try going to the Pause menu, then the Load tab and see if there's a save with TALD- *Mission name*
Royal55
I tried that but for some reason I had my autosave off, I don't have a save game for TL&D.
[email protected]
does starting a new game give you and option for TLAD?
Enjoii
I tried that but for some reason I had my autosave off, I don't have a save game for TL&D. And you didn't manually save?
Royal55
I just assumed that the autosave was on like it always usually is.
Enjoii
I can't really say it's anyone's fault but your own then, sorry. I don't mean any offence but you should never just rely on the autosave. Well anyway, sounds like you're going to have to start a new game. Menu>Game>New and there should be an option for Lost and Damned. Just don't save over your GTA IV save.
Royal55
That's exactly what I wanted to do, just get to the game. I didn't care to much about the savegame because I wasn't far into the game at all I just couldn't figure out how to get back there. You helped me though so thanks. What a moronic reply; "It's your fault for not knowing how to play the DLC coz you didn't set your autosave to on?!!!!" I've registered purely to express my anger a) At the producers for not making it clear how to play the DLC b) To the moron blaming the unsuspecting user for the convulted way you have to follow to play the damn thing. oh and btw i had autosave set to on, got to the warehouses, turned the game off to do other stuff and ended up in the same situation as the Italian guy above. It was the same with the DLC for Fallout 3 and the totally random way you had to get that going.
Enjoii
I lol'd. Both DLCs (F3 and this) have been easy to start up. It's your fault for not knowing how to play the DLC coz you didn't set your autosave to on? If you're going to quote me, do it correctly. I never said that, I said that you shouldn't rely on autosave to do your work for you. Don't come crying in here venting your anger because you can't play. b) To the moron blaming the unsuspecting user for the convulted way you have to follow to play the damn thing.Loading the game, I never realised that it could be so challenging.
