It's a censorship thing and it appears to be only happening in Germany so far, people from the US are saying that if anything there's more blood so, I believe this is a reigon thing and some kind of censorship happened when the new update hit, but not everyone is expeirencing this. It is probably a mix up, and those users will be upset when it's fixed, while the Germans will be happy once it's fixed. lieutenant #4 Posted February 18, 2009 Share Posted February 18, 2009 k when GTAIV first came out, it was already censored in australia and new zealand for reasons im too lazy to explain , anyway, im guessing nlitement is right, and the versions got messed up and it will probs be resolved. so if youre original gta IV wasnt censored, TLAD shouldnt be for you. gtaadam81 Posted February 18, 2009 Share Posted February 18, 2009 (edited) Had GTAIV for the PS3, since I brought a 360 just before christmas, I decided to get GTAIV and Lost and Damned Expansion together. Since I live in Australia, I was used to the cut version. Now that I'm downloading the expansion pack I decided to play GTAIV. Updated to the patch and decided to try out the uncut version. It's alot better than the censored version. If they do fix the patch, im not updating I can leave the online to the PS3 and just play the singleplayer and the expansion pack uncut. Tyla Posted February 18, 2009 Share Posted February 18, 2009 This is the problem Before the "update" was installed, if you shot someone this would be what it looked like(click), But after the update(i started up the regular GTA IV to play to pass the time until TLAD was released) I noticed dead bodies no longer had pools of blood around them. I don't know about hookers, but when I shot people in GTA IV there was no blood. This is a picture from TLAD of what it looks like when you shoot someone dead now There's no blood around the body. I'm in Spain so let's see what happened here then, I have noticed theres plenty of blood on the front of a car after driving into some people.
