Me and my mate were walking down the street and between the church and some other hubbard funded clinic was an empty shop with a homeless man sleeping on the step. There was 2 brainwashed shirt and tie types coming out and carrying boxes of something from the church to the clinic when I turned to them and said "cant see your church doing much for people like him eh?". He looked over and gave me a weird smirk and walked off in the clinic. Wanker. this is it here before they moved in I found the sign out front rather funny too, it was something like "helping others in a troubled time" - if you have a fat enough wallet. It is impossible to not hate Scientology after hearing the stories about suicide, forced abortion, torture, harassment and flat out murder. To say 'you have to be objective' just shows how little you understand about this 'religion', it is in one of their founding texts that anyone who crticizes them can be "destroyed", these people don't play fair, they don't know fair. They take in vulnerable people and destroy their lives under the premise of helping them just for their money. It's f*cking sick. If I didn't hate Scientology I wouldn't waste my time on them, there are 100s of other things I could be doing but hate is what drives me [cliché?]. I don't hate them in "I'm going to burn down their building hate" I hate them as in "I'm going to stand out in the pissing rain with a sign" hate. I don't hate individual members, quite the opposite in fact, but I hate the organisation. Anything that can cause that much damage to a person and still gets to operate is sickening. You think 'hate' is blinding me or something? It'll do more damage then good to the 'cause'? I guess that depends on how you focus that hate. Of course hate can make you make bad decisions in a street fight or a war but it's necessary when you spend over a year protesting something without loss of determination. You think I'm using 'hate' to attack Scientologists? I use it to explain to people about why I protest, hell I buy copies of 'The Complex' and hand them out to free to people on the streets. If people who hate scientology oppose them, they can say that these people do because of their hate, and they'd be right. You are just creating a perfect defense for them. The more people out there who hate scientology, the easier it is for them to remain where they are.I disagree, I came from a completely objective view of Scientology (even defending them a couple of years ago when that South Park episode came out) but the more you learn about Scientology the more disgusted you become. Like I said maybe hate is too strong a word, maybe passion is more appropriate. I'm passionate about this cause and bringing down Scientology.
